Comfy beds and bedding though 2 of the beds (5 plus a dbl/sgl bunk available) are starting to sag a little in the middle. Quiet. A few minutes walk to Francis Peninsula with great views, moderate hike and sheltered rocky beach. Well appointed kitchen and large expandable table. « We were in Powell River to attend my grandsons final minor hockey tournament (U18 Stars) and couldn’t have selected a better place to stay! Jenn & Sean were great hosts and our accommodations were the Best. With early morning rises and many trips back and forth to the rink, we felt right at home with the comfy beds, stunning views and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Lack of adjacent houses make it seem like a totally private north woods experience (bear, deer, many Bald Eagles and one elk spotted from the deck), Would have liked a bathroom on the second floor for the two bedrooms that are not the master suite, as the only second floor bath is in the master suite and therefore unsuitable for others to use during sleeping hours. « OK, met our needs, 9 family, 5 adults, 4 grandchildren, all teenagers. refrigerator not clean, cobwebs in bedroom corners, lack of some towels in some bathrooms, sink restricted in master ensuite, only one toilet paper in each bathroom, only one roll of paper towels, no kettle to boil water. Overall, a nice location and nice house, pricey for not being super clean, did meet our needs and host was very accommodating with the key, the timing and the phone number if there was an issue. « I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but it was a described - and lovely! We were there to end a week+ galavanting around the Coast and it was just what we needed. Adorable outside setup for lounging, a massive hot tub to float around in, a friendly ginger chicken to keep us company, super quiet AND a quick walk to the nearby beach!
