« Although not a "fancy" hotel, the comfort and personal touches to the rooms, lobby and cleanliness were outstanding. I felt like i was at home but with the convenience of having a housekeeper. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety of food. Of the 7 hotels i stayed at over a 7 day roadtrip, this one was the standout. »

« My husband and I came with our dog to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our dog absolutely loved playing with the property dog, Kevin, in and out of the water. We spent our time hiking different areas in Shawnee, and thought this cabin was a great central location. The firepit (with free wood), patio set up and location were absolutely perfect! Marion has an adorable town square that is a 10 minute drive away. We had some fabulous meals in Marion, so we didn't do any cooking at the cabin....
