« It's an old Victorian mansion converted to a hotel, felt a bit like a B&B. Beautiful old building with a nice parlor that we enjoyed, way more interesting than the usual boring motel/hotel. They have a wine bar downstairs in the afternoons which is fun. Location is great with excellent restaurants, pubs, and bakeries nearby. It's a bit loud outside on weekend nights but we turned on the AC fan and slept great. Our room's carpet was kind of old, maybe it's time to replace it... otherwise...

« The Host had perfect instructions and was quick to respond and make date changes we needed. Meadowview is absolutely a must do, from the amenities to the decor and hot tub. The sky view from the hot tub to King George, the cat. Towns Hillsboro and Peebles people are very kind and welcoming. »

« Perfect view from the deck, and yard enjoyable. Very clean inside. Towels,shampoo and other "amenities" provided. Beds comfortable. Possibly could have had brighter lights on the ceiling fan. The kitchen counter space was adequate and dining at the kitchen table was simply a nice experience. This place is a joy, both inside and out on the deck, and also the yard. Owner is communicative. Just reach out if you have questions. I found the owner's pricing to be reasonable, but vrbo and related...
