« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. « Absolutely beautiful. The house was well equipped and so comfortable. The sounds of the river were music to our ears. We will go again. The host was fabulous and saw to all our needs. It is out of the way, but so worth it. And a really good access to the Allegheny Trail, whether you are a biker or walker. So much to see and do and a great place to come back to in the evening. Don't miss this one. »
