« The property was Beautiful. Overall a great vacation. However, there were no matches/lighter to start fire and the wait time was significant. There was standing water in dishwasher but we ran it anyway. It did not seem to work well and had a significant odor. We chose to hand wash dishes. After one use, the propane tank ran out, so we were unable to cook bacon outside the next morning. Once we mentioned it, Ted did bring a replacement. « We celebrating our babies 1 year birthday in Duluth and this house was perfect for us. 4 adults and 1 baby. Just a great place to all spend time together. Very clean. Perk they had kid toys! »

« This house worked well for our waterfalls and lighthouse adventure. We recommend going to Betty’s Pies in Two Harbor, MN to eat or for shakes and carryout pie. They have a separate window just for ordering pie and shakes. They even have pie shakes. »

« My sister-in-law and I got our adult children together with some of our younger children for a ski trip between Christmas and New Year’s. The weather didn’t cooperate as well as we would’ve liked but there were other things to do like rock, climbing, ice-skating, and card games and video games. The cabin was in a good location, easy to find, and not far to from anything fun for the kids. Walmart delivered groceries! My bed was comfortable and no one complained that I know of about sleeping...

« This cabin was plenty big for our family of 6 and cozy at the same time. It was nicely decorated and felt like home. Our 2 smaller dogs enjoy the space as well as a nice walk around the lake. Our kids enjoyed watching movies with the fireplace going and overlooking the beautiful lake from the large windows. We would definitely stay here again! »

« We planned a trip with our little family for the Duluth air show . Walking around was easy and the beach was the boys favorite . Sat for hours . We will Definitely, come back for another Duluth stay !! »

« Property owners are very friendly, and the property is good overall, and I would come here again. Very competitive price for other options in Duluth. As mentioned in other reviews, the HVAC is rather loud, so this might not be a good fit for someone who is a light sleeper. »

« We needed a place to stay to accommodate family members who were in a wedding. This home was the perfect size for our family, had a nice yard and deck and was located in a quiet neighborhood. It was conveniently located near stores and a short drive to Duluth. »

« The Hermantown Hangout is definitely worth the stay! Very clean, updated, and somewhat secluded. Only complaint is it was a little further from Duluth than I have liked, but was expected when booking. Would stay again if I needed a house this big. »
