„This is a lovely 'boutique hotel' in an absolutely beautiful part of the area north of Nakanojo near Lake Okushima. I wanted a truly Japanese place and I got it. Few, if any, 'foreigners' in the area. I was provided a bike and road around for 3 hours. The owner is a beautiful, kind lady and her and her staff treated me like a king. I had a room with a private hot spring pool - all I can say is "wow". If you want to see a place off the beaten track, I highly recommend this hotel.“

„Large hotel with a nice large Onsen for guest use. Rather far from central Nagano. Need to either take the hotel bus that goes every hour or take the local bus. Supermarket and Lawson store within walking distant from 5 minutes. Breakfast available on site. Good selection. However if staying several nights it can get a bit repetitive. “

„Es war ein wunderschöner Besuch. Klasse Empfang und das Essen war ein richtiges Highlight. Am besten wären die privaten Onsen. Sehr sauber und unkompliziert. Es gab einen kleinen Souvenir Shop und wir konnten sogar shima onsen Badesalz kaufen. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)“
