This was a beautiful, well equipped & clean home that made for a comfortable and enjoyable spring break stay for two families with 5 kids. We had more than enough room to call home. The pool is a wonderful size with very functional patio for lounging in the sun or taking a break from the heat of the day. The kids loved having the soccer field to release energy. The e-bikes and ping pong table were a great addition. It came equipped with beach chairs and coolers though we didn’t use them. We rented two golf carts for our visit and would highly recommend doing so as the hacienda Pinilla beach club clubhouse is a 7 minute drive away. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and the beds and pillows were top notch - very comfortable accommodations. We hired Chef Gaston for a BBQ meal in the home. Wonderful - highly recommend! We had tons of leftovers so do it early in your stay. Housekeeper was kind and did a wonderful job in the home every day from 9-12. We also had massages in the home and they did a wonderful job. The highlight of our time was enjoying the backyard and watching a family of monkeys swing by in the trees. You really feel like you are in Costa Rica. No beach view from home but a short walk to one access point for sunsets which is different than the Clubhouse. Highly recommend this property.

We had a truly magical vacation at Villa Solana. The house is gorgeous and the outside is even better than pictured, with so many options to keep kids entertained. The property management was very responsive and helpful with any and every question we had before and throughout our trip. Our housekeeper Gabriella was also wonderful and had the house looking beautiful every day. We will most definitely be back.

Beautiful house with plenty of room for our 2 families. Each room has it's own bathroom (2 kings with en suite, 2 additional bedrooms upstairs with their own bathrooms in the hallway, and the casita has a bathroom as well that doubles as the pool bath). The kids had a blast in the pool, on the soccer field and with the ping pong table. The husbands loved the cold plunge and sauna. We rented golf carts to access the close by beaches but our favorite was Playa Negra, a short drive away. Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying that we absolutely loved the Villa and all it had to offer. The house was fabulous, clean, well maintained and perfectly suited for a large group like ours. We enjoyed all the extras, sauna, cold plunge and the e-bikes were a definite hit! Karla was amazing, we really appreciated everything she for us. The only down side was the problem with the alarm and the lack of internet for the last 3 days.

The house was perfect for our party of 12. Very spacious and comfortable. The outdoor space was amazing and the kids loved the pool. I’d definitely recommend the grocery delivery - very nice option. Joel and property management were wonderful to work with. Very responsive and helpful. Our flight out was canceled and they were kind enough to find us a property to stay one more night and organize the transportation from and to the airport - all within twenty minutes of our request. We’d happily stay at Villa Solana again!

Family and Friends Getaway

We were a group of 17 and the house provided plenty of space for all of us. The house was beautiful and very well maintained. Carla’s breakfasts were amazing and the perfect way to start each day. The beach club was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed all of the amenities. Everyone had a blast on the e-bikes. We also appreciated the group chat to immediately address any questions. The ATV experience was the favorite event for the kids!

Just WOW!

Upon entry to the property we were welcomed by upscale scents and a wonderful staff that showed us the property and made sure to answer any questions and give us recommendations.The house and grounds are gorgeous and everything is well thought out and planned. Rooms were spacious and the AC was nice and cold.We opted to have Carla make our breakfast daily and it was so worth it. She was amazing!Only complaint was the sauna and cold plunge weren’t operational but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Kids loved the e-bikes and the local beach was amazing at low tide.Highly recommend!

Amazing Family Getaway!

Stayed at the Villa with family (infants included). The house was spacious and designed well to host all of us. House was clean and had everything we needed from pool toys to kitchen essentials. The daily housekeeping was nice to have as well - thanks Carla!! We also enjoyed the e-bikes, close location to several beaches, and activities provided onsite (horseback riding, ziplining, beach club, small market). Only issue was the roads. Inside the neighborhood everything was smooth riding, but the road to Avellanas Beach and halfway to Tamarindo took some navigating (massive potholes and ruts). Not really a Hacienda Pinilla issue though since these are public roads and would just be a preference thing depending on how often a group wants to leave the resort area. We had a rental car to drive around - 4 wheel drive is a must, but if you don’t like feeling like you are off roading suggest to stay on the resort since there is more than enough to do and is awesome or hire transportation!

Incredible diamond in HP!

Loved our stay in the Los Golondrinos neighborhood at Hacienda Panilla in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The place was super clean and well-kept. The kids had a blast on the mini soccer field and pool space is incredible. The property managers were easy to reach and helpful. We enjoyed the nearby beach club, JW spa, and close access to beach. Only small hiccup was a missing toilet seat, but it was quickly addressed. Just a heads-up, the 5th bedroom and its bathroom are outside. Perfect spot for big families or multiple families traveling together. Highly recommend!

Incredible Stay

Our family of 13 had the best time creating memories in this incredible house. It was the perfect size for us. It is in great condition and had everything we needed. They had our complete week long grocery list bought and unloaded in the house before we arrived. Having Ethel come every morning to clean and help with laundry was a dream! It felt like a true vacation - getting to relax. The staff was so helpful in the planning of our trip, making sure we had everything we needed. They were always so quick to respond. We can't wait to come back!

The most beautiful vacation home!!!

This house was absolutely gorgeous!!! It blew us away and we’re used to staying at 5-Star hotels. Ethel was the absolute best! She kept the house so clean everyday and made some amazing food. The location was great! Overall I couldn’t recommend this place more! The pool and back yard was breathtaking!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed Villa Solana very much. The pool, sports field and ping pong table offered a lot of opportunities to get out with the kids and play. Hacienda Pinilla is an amazing development and has much to offer with golf, horseback riding and the beach club to name a few. We took many walks down to the beach with was only a couple hundred yards from the home. The home was meticulously cared for and showed very nicely.

Joel met us upon our arrival on Christmas evening to introduce us to the house and area! Thank you Joel!! The home was perfect for our family group of 11, ages 80 to 9 years old. The kitchen had everything we needed to have daily family dinners together. The bedroom layout was perfect for comfort and privacy, and the pool, soccer field and ping pong table were used continuously. We were there from Christmas day until January 4. We did have one issue. We were not able to reach management over the New Year holiday when we wanted to schedule a fishing charter and transportation for part of our group , but we were able to manage that ourselves.. Ethel was wonderful!! She was so pleasant and hard working. She offered to cook breakfast each day and went about her chores quietly and professionally. (I wanted to bring her back to Wisconsin with me)! At one point, the kitchen sink backed up, but Ethel called for help and the problem was solved. I cannot say enough about our overall stay. The house is fabulous, perfect for large groups, very well maintained and within walking distance of the beach. Definitely a 5 star place to stay. One Suggestion. It might be helpful for the management company to have a brief checkout with customers to hear about their experience.

An absolute dream stay

First of all, I want to mention the host and service was absolutely incredible, really doing all they could to help us plan our trip and assist us while we were there. The house is really special as well, clean, luxurious, spacious and lots of on-premise activities all in a safe community walking distance to the beach. The daily cleaning service was also really impactful, especially with the size of our group. Highly recommend this one.

A dream stay in Hacienda Pinilla - favorite of our whole trip

We absolutely loved our stay. Hacienda Pinilla is a quiet neighborhood, and this house is like a dream...everything you'd wish for. Beautifully furnished, well equipped, we enjoyed the big pool and playing in the yard with the kids, the gym is a nice plus too! Just a quick walk to a deserted beach, and close to the beachclub where we rented surfboards for the whole family. A nice, quiet little getaway...wished we had more family members with us to share it with! Nice attention from the owners to leave a plate of fresh cut fruits, and Ether our maid was so nice and very discreet. A dream stay, our favorite of our whole trip in Costa Rica...
