This place was perfect for our family vacation in Costa Rica. The property is beautiful and in an excellent location with access to two beaches. The house is well equipped with lots of room for everyone. Jose was a great host, very organized and answered any questions we had immediately…Mari was the highlight…she was extremely friendly and her breakfasts were outstanding…our granddaughter really enjoyed seeing her every morning!

Absolutely unforgettable stay in TamarindoWe absolutely loved our time at this home and were truly sad to leave. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the house, the attention to detail, and how welcoming everything felt.The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and spotless. The garden and pool area are stunning and incredibly well cared for, and the extra amenities made such a difference — pool toys, games, books, and thoughtful touches like beach bags that made our stay so easy and enjoyable.Maricella was truly the icing on the cake. She is incredibly kind, accommodating, and went above and beyond for our family. Her breakfasts were delicious, and she even helped us with laundry — an absolute gift when traveling with a group. Maricella is simply the best and made our stay extra special.Access to the Langosta Beach Club was a fantastic bonus with gorgeous views, and the location of the house is perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet at night.We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Tamarindo and would not hesitate to stay here again. A truly exceptional experience from start to finish.

Jose is a professional host. Frankly I think some people in my party were a bit demanding, but he always went the extra mile. One in our party complained about a mattress. Jose had a new mattress the next day.

This was a wonderful place in a great location. Back yard is very private and the pool is beautiful. Bedrooms are spacious a have an attached bath. The best part of the house is Marcella! Her food is amazing. Not to mention she is a very kind lady. We absolutely loved seeing her every morning.

Best stay!

We had the most amazing time in Tamarindo and at this property. The house was exactly as promised and had everything we could need. Likely the most well stocked kitchen we’ll ever find in a property, lots of beach toys, board games, books and an abundance of towels. We looked forward to our breakfast with Marisela each morning and also enjoyed practicing our Spanish with her - she was simply amazing. We lost power on the first night and found the host to be incredibly responsive. The location was great, as was the access to the beach club and having a ton of space for our whole family on the rainy days. If we’re ever back in Tamarindo I know my family will insist we stay here!

Amazing stay in Tamarindo

Property was absolutely beautiful! Perfect spot for our Family. Mari was so kind, wonderful, and accommodating! She enhanced the joy and made it a stress free, incredible stay! Paradise in Tamarindo

Maricela greeted us upon arrival with a tour. She made our stay so much more relaxing with her AMAZING breakfasts, daily laundry and housekeeping. Not to mention her kindness. The house was beautiful, clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance/pot/pan/utensils you could possibly need. They yard was very peaceful. Jose was super responsive to my questions leading up to the visit. We had no need to contact him during our stay - things went so smoothly for all 9 of us! Would definitely stay here again!

This is a really amazing property that my family and I loved! Our housekeeper, Marisella, was so friendly and a wonderful help with delicious breakfasts and keeping the place perfectly cleaned. Everything was fantastic including contact with the manager. I'd just add 2 quick notes for future travelers: 1) Rent a golf cart. Beaches, restaurants, etc. are a little further away than I expected.2) The 4th bedroom on this property is not connected to the main house, so you have to walk a short way outside by the pool to enter. It was a perfect refuge for my teenager.We loved this place and hope to be back soon!

Fantastic Stay in Tamarindo

The property was beautiful, modern and clean. Everything we needed was supplied. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts and practicing our limited Spanish with Marisela. Marisela was pleasant, helpful, and a wonderful cook. She kept our house spotless and she was very kind to everyone. The grandchildren really appreciated her as well. Access to the Langosta Beach Club facilities was a nice surprise. Definitely a place to recommend and return.

Five Stars! Perfect Family Getaway

We had an incredible stay at Villa Metisse in Tamarindo! The house was absolutely perfect for our two families with five kids. The layout was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Having access to the Langosta Beach Club was a huge bonus — we loved being able to enjoy the upbeat, vibrant atmosphere there, and then come back and relax by our own private pool in the backyard.A special shoutout to Marisol, the housekeeper, who made our trip even more enjoyable. She prepared delicious breakfasts every morning, kept the house spotless, and even did our laundry daily — truly above and beyond!Villa Metisse is ideal for families looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation. We would absolutely recommend it and can’t wait to come back!

Great House

Our family of 6 had a great time at the house. The layout was perfect for us with great open access to the pool and was very clean. The location was perfect with an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. We planned on getting a golf cart, but found it an easy walk to town. Maricella was fantastic as she cooked up a delicious breakfast every morning and even laundered and folded out clothes. Access to the beach club was also a very nice amenity that we used each day when we needed a break from the sun and the sand. Would recommend this house 10/10 for families or friend groups looking to relax and enjoy Tamarindo.

Villa Metisse Review

We spent the last week at Villa Metisse in Tamarindo with my family and my sister’s family. For 4 adults and 6 kids (ages 11 to 17), this house was absolutely perfect! There was plenty of space, it was extremely clean and stylishly appointed, and waking up every morning to a cup of coffee by the pool and a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast in the kitchen was absolute heaven! Speaking of breakfast, the cook and housekeeper, Maricela was THE BEST! She was so kind and encouraged our limited Spanish speaking skills. She helped with all sorts of things and insisted that we relax and enjoy. By the end of the week, she almost felt like family! When we accidentally made an error with booking our airport shuttle for our trip home (totally our fault), we went into panic mode, but Maricela reassured us and made a quick phone call to save the day and got us a last minute shuttle within minutes. We were so grateful! This villa was the perfect spot to stay in Tamarindo. Just far enough from the main hub to be nice and quiet, but still walking distance to many great restaurants and shops, and a very short golf cart ride to everything else. The Langosta Beach Club membership that came with the villa was an added bonus, and we enjoyed multiple days with a private cabana at the beach club, where they had a nice beachfront pool and delicious food and cocktails. If you’re thinking of visiting Tamarindo, Villa Metisse should be at the top of your list!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay! Great property and convenient to the beaches and Tamarindo. Access to the beach club was a big added perk because we had littles and could do both beach and pool and have a shaded cabana where the littles could nap. The best part was having Mari! She makes a delicious breakfast every morning and does housekeeping to make our stay more relaxing! She is the sweetest!!! Good communication with Jose. It was Pura Vida!!

A great week!

A wonderful week in a perfect house for two families with 4 adults and 4 teens. The common room was perfect, the outdoor area and pool was great and the breakfast from Marcella was such a treat everyday. We enjoyed the Langosta Beach Club during the day, using the pool, beach, workout facility and lunch there. The location is a bit more than an easy to town, but we had a car and always found parking. Loved sharing this amazing town with friends.The owners were helpful and very responsive and we always felt safe. A wonderful week for sure.

Amazing stay at Villa Metisse!

Outstanding Home and Experience

The home is even better in person. The layout, space and decor are well thought out. Mari provided outstanding service and made us feel at home. We all looked forward to morning breakfast and she is an amazing cook. In addition the cleaning and laundry service she provided was very much appreciated. As for location, the trails that access both beaches from the community made it easy to get to the beach. The Longosta Beach club access was also a nice amenity and we used it. Restaurants nearby were also very good and it is a relatively short walk into town. Communication before and leading up to the trip was excellent and Jose provided quick response to any questions. This was a highlight of our trip and we hope to return soon. Highly highly recommend.

Great Place!

Overall everything about Metisse was awesome. Marie was lovely and showed us great hospitality. The host was also super accommodating with check-in which we really appreciated. Highly recommend to families traveling together or anyone who wants an excellent location, great pool+amenities, delicious breakfast, and super clean rooms. The closest beach was on the rocky side for our kids, but we had a car and drove to other beaches, no problem.
