„Schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeitenden. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Leider hatten wir nicht die Zeit, um mehr vom gastronomischen Angebot zu probieren. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen.“

The staff were excellent, welcoming and explained all we needed to know at check-in, which included completing a breakfast form and time for breakfast. „The Royal Oak has a wonderful location in a quiet village setting and visitors can expect a relaxing change of pace. The countryside around is spectacular for England and the people are without exception friendly and helpful. I'm perhaps biased because my family lived in Gt Ayton in the early 19th Century and although I was born in North Yorkshire today, as a visiting southerner it's very much my home ground.
