Our hosts Greg and Gina greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the gorgeously decorated vintage trailer. It’s obvious a lot of thought went into providing every comfort for prospective guests. My spouse and I were pleasantly surprised to find the trailer well stocked with extras like Keurig coffee pods, a variety of teas, sugars and creamer options. The fridge contained chilled bottles of water and a basket of carrots inviting us to feed the cows, which turned out to be lots of fun. Gina’s flock of feathered friends were generous to share some of their freshly laid eggs with us. Yummy! I felt fortunate Gina took time out of her busy day to share her extensive knowledge of chickens with me.
The property itself is serene and picturesque (occasional moos from the cows nearby notwithstanding). It was easy to relax while sitting on the patio. The air was fresh, the mountain views and sunsets Instagram worthy. By the end of our too brief stay, my spouse and I felt peaceful, refreshed and ready to return to our “regular” lives. We hope to come back again soon and wholeheartedly recommend this sublime slice of heaven.
