« Very poor 'welcome' from the receptionist. She seemed miserable and dis-interested. She also could not find our pre-booked details initially and then when she did, tried to charge us an additional £75 even though we had paid in full. On the plus side, the room was very good. Very clean, comfortable bed and a good shower. Only two teabags on the tray, which was either an oversight or just a bit mean. »

« The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks. »

« We loved the location as it was less than 10 mins from Colson Park wedding venue we were attending. The staff at the Cromwell Arns were very acommadating but unfortunatly my husband banged his head on corner of the tv as he squessed past it as the bed took up too much room for ease .There was a lot of dust on skirting boards a fluffy duster would sort! Apart from that everything was clean and to a good standard. Breakfast was lovely well presented , thankyou to you all we would stay...

« Lovely old building with nice staff and excellent food. Parking can be a problem and the tv system is on satellite and hardly ever works. But definitely a lovely hotel and we would return. »

« Das Hotel liegt in einer weitläufigen Gartenanlage, die bei unserem Besuch aufgrund der anhaltenden Dürre allerdings recht trocken wirkte. Positiv hervorzuheben sind der moderne, große Innenpool und das gute, abwechslungsreiche Frühstücksbuffet. Strand und Stadtzentrum sind jeweils in etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war angenehm groß, allerdings etwas altmodisch eingerichtet. Verbesserungsbedarf gab es im Bad: Beim Duschen lief Wasser auf den Boden und bildete dort...

« We received a very warm welcome from Lin and, for the one night that we stayed, we found the top floor bedroom cosy, well equipped and immaculately clean. The freshly cooked breakfast was very tasty. We enjoyed our stay. »

« Motel style which is convenient. Plenty of car parking spaces. Rooms are very small and quite claustrophobic if you are in couple. Wifi works well. Food and breakfast are ok, they have tried to make an effort but quite average really. Does the job for one night. Not a good value for money »
