It was truly fabulous. Would totally stay there again, but definitely wanted to let the owners know the fridge does not stay very cold. We had to put things in the garage refrigerator but that was fine and also there’s definitely a rattlesnake in the backyard. We saw it several times. It did not change our trip. It was somewhat exciting but the properties beautiful we had a great time.

Wonderful family reunion

If you’re looking for a home to host a large family, this is it. We enjoyed every aspect of the home from the interior living space to the guest house/game room and the surrounding amenities. We made wonderful memories just sitting around the oversized kitchen island catching up on each one of our lives. This was a family reunion/wedding for one of my sons. We could not be happier with our stay thank you for letting us use this beautiful home to make life lasting memories.

Perfect for a large family vacation

We recently stayed here. Great floor plan with lots of room for a large extended family. We had kids ranging in age from 21 months to 5 years old. This is the 3rd time we rented it. My only wish is that the owner would actually buy a portable fence for the pool, particularly since the home is marketed to families. I have to rent my own each year for an extra $690 !!! Since we have little ones, we cannot take risk of them running out the door when we are not looking and falling into an unfenced pool.

Paradise Getaway

The house and amenities were fabulous! Sitting on the porch rocking chairs overlooking the beautiful garden and landscape was breath-taking! Wonderful view of the hot air balloons rising early morning. We couldn't have asked for more!

great space. beautiful views. close to grocery stores and surrounded by vineyards and wine tasting. walkable tasting rooms! master bath had a great bath tub. master shower was a bit tricky with hot water availability. kitchen is super easy to cook and entertain. great for a large family or two families. girlfriend weekend. easy! swimming pool and hot tub! we loved the flow of the house. upstairs had lots of space with private movie theater!

This property was absolutely incredible and beautiful. I had the most amazing time with some of my close friends just enjoying the grounds and surrounding wineries. The house is so spacious and was pristine and exactly as the description. The check-in process was one of the easiest ones, I downloaded the app and highly recommend! I had some questions I asked about and response time varied but they were always very helpful! There are so many cute wineries only a 5-10 minute walk and the views are beautiful. The movie room was a huge plus and we had the best time making meals together in the incredible kitchen!

Perfect relaxing palace

We are just so thrilled with our stay during March 2022. The location is in a quiet neighborhood on a hilltop that overlooked wine country. Our party of 14 ages 2-57 years old we’re so comfortable that it was hard to leave. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our large group and movie theatre was a hit! Very beautiful home and grounds, well maintained. Beautiful and expansive views over vineyards. Combined kitchen/great room perfect for the extended family.Very nice outdoor cooking and dining space. The Casita was great for the kids to have their own space to play. We had a fantastic time there.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here.

We rented this home for the Christmas Holiday. We had a mix of adults, teenagers and several under 4 years old. AvantStay went way above and beyond our expectations. First, the home is amazing. The floor plan was perfect. AvantStay took care of so many things for us including: (1) They put a fence around the pool to protect the little ones. (2) They had the home totally decorated for Christmas including a real tree, a real garland on the fireplace with a stocking for each child, and Christmas decorations throughout the home. (3) We had two Christmas dinners cooked and catered by an amazing chef. They were always easy to get a hold of and we all had a great time.

Very misleading! Wouldn't recommend. Beds are also horrible!!! Toilets are loose and move around.

My family of 3 decided to stay here as a quick getaway vacay to brake the monotony of being stuck within home during the pandemic. It was a mistake to choose this property! The property COULD be very beautiful but it has been let go and is in poor condition. The flooring had cracks throughout the entire home.The carpets were heavily soiled with stains and did not look clean at all. The furnishings in the sitting room were filthy! There were flies that would lounge all over the furnishings which called me to prohibit my child from sitting in there at any point. I’m not sure why the flies would be attracted to the furnishings there, but they are. Although we kept the doors closed and very rarely went out, there seem to be an influx of flies that would appear from nowhere. When I tell you I killed over 30 flyers while I was there, I am being very truthful. It made it very arduous for us to enjoy our dinner both inside and outside. It almost reminded me of the movie legion and it was something we joked about. They would rest on the floor furniture, walls, everywhere! Another thing about this home is the swimming pool. What a joke! The pool is extremely small, old, dirty, and it’s missing tiles and has expose netting which is supposed to be underneath the tiles. It was really gross and the pool sweeper did not work properly. There is no covering over the pool, and there are bees everywhere which scared my five year old. There’s no wonder they’re only show a very small portion an angle of the swimming pool. One of the main reasons we rented this home is for the swimming pool and we feel like we were ripped off! My husband actually hurt himself and is still dealing with the injury which he got by trying to get out of the swimming pool. There are no handrails to hold onto and it is very very dangerous! He hurt his back badly and has had a hard time walking ever since. Im sure that there is some type of law which this violates.Another reason we chose his house is that I thought My kid could play. A picture is a beautiful play area with swings and slides etc…When we went there it was broken and had a do not use sign on it. The home had spider webs all over the outside furniture. The theater has not ventilation and smells old and musty. Save your money!! This listing is def not worth it. Maybe as a party house but not as a family vacation when cleanliness is important. It badly smelled like dog in the garage and the air hockey handthing was broken.

The Avant staff were friendly and quick to respond. I loved the gift in the refrigerator, hand sanitizer and deck of cards. We appreciate the extra personal touches. The house was beautiful and clean. Perfect for larger groups.

Perfect Staycation / Weekend getaway!

This place came to the rescue when plans fell through with another listing. So glad this house was available for my 30th celebration with family. The amenities are plentiful (wish we could've stayed longer than a weekend) and has something for everyone. The location is also perfect, not too far of a drive of San Diego but enough to feel like we were out of the city - especially being surrounded by wine country. The owners were quick to respond with any question I had as well. Loved everything about this place and the memories that were made here. 10/10 experience and would book again in a heartbeat.

Spacious home right in the middle of God’s country!

Our family of six stayed at this beautiful home centered right in the middle of rolling hills and endless views of vineyards. Hot air balloons even graced us on a few of the mornings! The home is situated on a lovely hilltop. Plenty of space for our kids to claim their own room. Enough activities in addition to the pool and hot tub to be busy with. If you ever want to experience southern CA wine country, rent this home and be right in the middle of beauty!
