Thank you for your kind review. We have considered Air conditioning for the apartment. The problem is where to put the condenser unit outside. It would have to go on the terrace and space is limited. We do provide fans for the apartment and notice that hardly any apartments in Santiago 1 or 2 have air con. We will give it some thought. Thanks again. Lee and Karen.

Thank you for your review Greg. The renovation starts on the 20th April and should take 3 to 4 weeks to finish. All the floors will be new and modern and totally new bathroom etc. We will change the pictures on the website when it has been completed. Thanks!

Hi Melanie, Thanks for your review, it’s much appreciated. We are having a brand new bathroom fitted on the 17th April and new floors throughout the property. We are also having new wardrobe doors as well as new dining table, chairs and coffee tables in the lounge. As you said, the lifts should be put in this year. Thanks ones again. Lee and Karen

Thank you for your review. We will look into the squeaky bed. It is one year old from Ikea and was not the cheap range. The mattress is also a good one. The last thing you want especially on your holidays is a squeaky bed. I will make it my priority. Thank you Lee

Hi Per, Thank you for your review. Your points have been noted and accepted and we will change and add more crockery for the kitchen. The reason we provide sunbeds on the terrace which gets sun all day is because of the charges for them around the pool and also beaches. I hope to see you again some time. N.B.Since the time of writing my initial response, we have now been out and bought new pans and every item mentioned in your review has been addressed.

Hi Jill, I’m glad you had a nice holiday. We do try our best to make the apartment as comfortable as possible. The bed is brand new. I will try to have a look at it for your future enjoyment. You are always welcome to come back for a second honeymoon!

I met Judith Bateman and her husband personally and they did not mention this which is disappointing. We have had a new kitchen and new bathroom as are all the windows and shutters. The sofa and the beds are new and also the boiler. Maybe it is the pricing as I think Judith usually books direct with a friend / owner a few doors down so it will be cheaper without the Homes & Away commissions. Reading other reviews, i feel proud of the apartment as most guests feel highly satisfied. We get great compliments of the cleanliness of the property as our cleaners and maintenance are very thorough and conscientious. We even let the clients stay until 3pm on their departure day.

We will keep up maintaining the property ongoing and we will be adding a washing machine in a few weeks. we have just bought some thicker covers for the sun loungers after you left. Thank you Andrew. We only bought the apartment in September and have had a new kitchen and bathroom. All the Windows’s and shutters are new. We are having the kitchen ceiling re plastered in May as we feel it does not match after taking the breakfast bar wall down. We intend to keep the property in really good condition for the guests.
