« Great place to get away! »

« We loved our stay at Ten Bits Ranch. It was very clean and well kept. The community kitchen was fun and breakfast almost always involved talking with other guests and sharing experiences. We were there during the cold snap in January of 2026 when much of Texas was struggling with snow and ice. We had a fair amount of rain. The owners arrived and stayed throughout the bad weather and made sure electricity wasn’t a problem. We had 4WD and had no trouble getting around. If you like getting away...

« We had a great stay at Ten Bits Ranch. This was our home base for three days as we hiked in Big Bend. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The views from the porch and the fire pit were incredible. We enjoyed hiking to the apache cave across the street and the views from the cave were impressive. Ten Bits was very quiet. Check in and out was very easy. We would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Big Bend. »

« Absolutely loved this experience! Was skeptical bc it is down a two mile gravel road, but totally worth it. There is nothing else around for miles, so the night sky is absolutely beautiful. There is enough space to feel like your party is alone, but the cantina and communal fire-pits invite interaction. There is a trail right on property and we had a great time exploring. We left before sunrise everyday and was able to enter BBNP in no time. Highly recommend »

« Nothing fancy, but a homey and comfortable place for a single person or couple to spend a night or two. Comfortable bed, kitchen with much-appreciated coffee makings and some cooking supplies included. Very close to the entrance to Big Bend National Park. RV park location was quiet and close to a few places to eat, buy groceries or fill up on (very expensive) gas. »
