« Extremely welcoming host, and we even worked out staying an additional night because we were having such a great time. Iâve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. »

« Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. The listing states it has one bathroom and photos show two. In reality, there are three full bathrooms! All on rhe first...

« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way.
We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited.
Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold.
If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available.
Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. After that you are out of luck.

« We enjoyed our stay, but we had a few concerns:
1) The TV remote did not work; I think the batteries need to be replaced. Fortunately, I travel with my Fire Stick and that remote worked with the TV.
2) The âNeed Stuffâ laminated form lacked an appropriate instrument for writing on its surface.
3) Come on, one roll of toilet paper for five guest over two nights; fortunately, we were able to buy toilet paper locally. »
