One of the main reasons we booked this house was because it claimed to have a hot tub and fireplace. The details of the house do say that the hot tub is at the rec center, but they neglected to say that the rec center required a pass. Once we were a few days away from arriving I received an email with the additional details. The house came with two passes, but we would have to pay 10 each for the rest of our party. Needless to say we didn't use the rec center. We attempted to use the fireplace, which was gas. The instructions were in a binder on the mantle. There were so many steps to turn it on, we eventually got the pilot on, but the flame would not come on. We called Vacasa customer service, and they said they would send someone the next morning. I got a phone call around 1pm the next day from someone asking if I wanted them to drop by and look at the fireplace. I couldn't answer because I was skiing and had no service. Of course, I wanted them to fix the fireplace! The house also had outdated furniture/fixtures, and uncomfortable beds. When we arrived the stairs/porch were not shoveled and the entryway had no lights on.
