Easy check-in process, communicative host, and a nice, quiet location. The bathroom was very spacious, and there was just enough room for 4 of us, each with two suitcases. About a 5-6 minute walk from the nearest station, and only 2 stops from Ikebukero but it feels a world away from the hustle and bustle.Overall, a great location. Try to go to Yakiniku Ushioto for dinner early to get some tasty beef barbecue!

Absolutely perfect spot. Quiet neighborhood and very friendly neighbors. Apartment was easy to find and really close to anything you need. There is a 24hr restaurant right by the station that smelled AMAZING about 5 min walk. Jason was great and everything we needed was there. Thank you for a great place!

Wonderful house just outside Tokyo

Kevin was a wonderful host and his house was perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby for dining and shopping. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

Great stay!

This was a 2 bedroom flat that was very comfortable. Perfect for our 16 year old son to have his own space. It was short 2 stop train ride to bustling Ikebukoro.

Cozy and a good Home Base

The place was a great set of houses to stay at for our duration. Despite our large group size it didn't detract from how well it helped. During the day we would go out to explore and it was nice to know we had this comfortable abode to return to.

Perfect place for First Timers

Let me just say wow. This place was absolutely beautiful. It is literally the best place to go as a first time traveling to Japan. Our host was the best at communicating. We were able to get so many recommendations. It was incredible if I could give higher than five stars for each thing I would because it was literally the perfect place to stay and we wish we could’ve stayed longer!

location is really nice, very quiet neighborhood, away from the busy streets of Tokyo. Kevin was very helpful and it was such a cozy home. Location is also good, 2 stops from Ikebukuro, and the house itself is around 5 minute walk from the station. There are many konbini around too. Really enjoyed our stay! Arigato gozaimasu, Kevin-san!

Perfect Stay

This 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our 10 day stay with 2 young adult children! First, this neighborhood is amazing ... a quiet neighborhood SO close to the big city sites of Tokyo. All you need in a 2-5 min walk: Incredible local restaurants, cafes and shops (follow host's recommendations). Super helpful host. Very comfortable apartment. Great location. Highly recommend!

The apartment is located only 2 stations by train from Ikebukuro-Station and away from the busy streets of Tokyo in a quiet neighborhood. Only 5 minutes walk to the train station. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby for dining and shopping.The host was very helpful and provided a lot of information before we arrived, both about traveling in Japan in general as well as recommendations for local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.For people who want to cook regularly, it would be nice to update the cooking facility.

Great location, excellent host

This property was perfect for us (2 adults and 1 teenager). It would have worked well for 4 people, too. The location was easy to get to on public transportation, but in a quiet neighborhood (a nice contrast from some other locations in Tokyo). The host was very helpful and provided a lot of information before we arrived, both about traveling in Japan in general as well as recommendations for local restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay there again.

The location of the apartment couldn’t be better. Right on the Ikebukuro line, with access to major lines only a few minutes away. My only criticism is the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Great communication from the host, Kevin. For the price, this place is a winner!

Lovely Home in Convenient Neighbourhood

My parents and I had a great stay at Kevin's apartment. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities for our stay. It's a close walk to the train station and a quick/easy ride in to Ikebukero. It was my parent's first time in Tokyo and they have a very easy time navigating the area. Kevin was a fantastic host - he was very responsive and ensured our stay was a comfortable one. Would definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone coming to Tokyo!

Spacious and great neighborhood

This was my second trip to Tokyo. During my first, I stayed in a hotel and although it was great, I craved more space. This VRBO offered exactly that. It was wonderfully I have space to sleep, eat, and relax all in separate spaces! The neighborhood was something I didn’t think I missed in my first trip. I was in the middle of the busy city before and this neighborhood was a nice change of pace while still having everything I needed. Large grocery store, multiple restaurants, shopping, even entertainment, with easy access to a train station. The owner communicated well ahead of my stay and during. He sent useful information and suggestions that we utilized during our stay.

Quiet, but close to everything. Great apartment!

We (2 adults and a 3-year-old) loved our stay here. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood but is a few minutes' walk from a train station where you can get to Ikebukuro in 10 minutes for ¥150. It was the perfect place to relax after spending the day exploring Tokyo, and there's plenty of restaurants plus two good supermarkets right in the neighborhood. (protip: Seiyu has better prepared food) The apartment itself was quite nice and very functional. It was great to have a small kitchen and a washing machine. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we're in Tokyo.

Short Tokyo Stay

Kevin's property was perfect for my friends and I, as well as their 2 year old child. He regularly communicated with me to make sure everything was ok. Location was very good, only a 5 minute walk from one station, and a 15 minute walk from another station. Has everything you need in the area including several restaurants, a grocery store, and konbini. If you want a quiet neighborhood that is still located in tokyo, this is the perfect spot. Would definitely book again!
