„Everything was excellent! I would strongly suggest you get there during the daylight so you can see and experience the road, especially if you are not familiar with the steep Tortola roads. „Great space for 4 couples, bedroom air conditioning was welcomed both for cooling and dulling the rooster noise :-). Close to the airport. Great view, coffee and drinks on the balcony was perfect. Things to note - no toiletries provided, washer/dryer work but very long cycles so plan accordingly. House sits on top of a very steep hill providing great views but not great for walking, used a driver for every outing making it less convenient than being in town. “

„We had a group of 10 adult friends. Everything about Sunset House was great. The staff treats you like you own the place. Meals are as good as anything on the island and more affordable (if that matters to you). Carmin the house manager is incredible to work with. The only thing that was a surprise was the very steep and narrow driveway to get down to the property. That, and the rooster that crowed at VERY early hours of the morning! "Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Bucht im East End von Tortola direkt am Lambert Beach. Der Strand ist wunderschön, angenehm leer und sehr ruhig. Je nach Wind und Wellengang kann das Meer allerdings zeitweise etwas rauer sein. Kostenlose Parkplätze für einen Mietwagen waren jederzeit ausreichend vorhanden. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, gut ausgestattet und während des gesamten Aufenthalts sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei, es gab genügend Ablagemöglichkeiten und die Einrichtung wirkte neuwertig. Das Bett war zwar sehr weich, war für uns aber dennoch überraschend komfortabel. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, vom Check-in über das Restaurant bis hin zu den Reinigungskräften. Der Pool war sehr groß und jederzeit sauber. Entgegen einigen älteren Bewertungen konnten wir keinerlei Probleme feststellen. Sowohl am Pool als auch am Strand waren immer ausreichend Liegen verfügbar. Sehr angenehm waren auch die kostenlosen Cabanas. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker, egal ob Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen. Besonders empfehlen können wir den Caribbean Salad und das Lambert Bay Chicken. Auch die Bar war hervorragend ausgestattet und die Cocktails waren ausgezeichnet. Zu Stoßzeiten konnte es gelegentlich etwas länger dauern, was für uns jedoch kein Problem darstellte. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre ein moderner Safe mit Zahlencode statt eines Schlüssels. Klare Empfehlung, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen."
