« This was the second year in a row I stayed in the hotel for a golf clinic I teach at St Leos University. The lobby was under renovation and was pretty messed up with Construction, but the space was clean and orderly. The staff was welcoming every time I walked through the lobby. « My best friend & I brought our nine year old grandsons here. As stated above, everything was fantastic, from meeting Dona' s Mom, "Mrs. A", upon our arrival to the wonderful animal tour given by Dona, complete with the boys being able to feed some of the animals, to the perfect evening with a fire, and star viewing. Dona & her Mom went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. We made great memories here and look forward to our next time we can come again! »

« Amazed with the cleanliness of the apartment and friendliness of the owners. The apartment is a converted barn/horse stalls and they did a great job making it feel like home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, and even a crock pot! We toured the sanctuary on our 2nd day and Dona’s passion for the animals shined as she told us about each one and her efforts to conserve some of the species she houses. We cannot wait to return. »

Unfortunately, during the months of February-March, this area of Florida is packed with Snowbirds, Spring training fans, and early Spring breakers. Finding an affordable escape is not easy. We were fortunate to find this location in Hernando county that was quiet, affordable, and away from it all. The hosts were helpful and interested in our enjoying our stay. We would definitely like to stay here again! »

« This place was a great place to stay, we had such a relaxing time and the kids had plenty to do. There were kayaks to use and we went fishing and relaxed by the fire. They even set up a projector outside and they had popcorn and which was a huge hit with the kids. Only con I would say was the camper could have been a little bit cleaner and I would say to bring your own blankets and sheets. Overall, we had a great time and Sandra was so responsive and helpful for whatever we needed. »

« My husband and I were looking for a quiet weekend trip, and this was the perfect place for it. We spent the days exploring Brooksville and the surrounding areas, and we spent the evenings and nights at this beautiful cottage. The space was clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Our favorite parts were relaxing in the chairs behind the barn and also watching the chickens wander around. It truly felt like an escape! »
