Perfect for small families, groups of friends, and business travelers, this home has five stylish bedrooms offering the perfect place for rest and relaxation. 3 of the rooms have a king-sized beds , 1 room has queen-size bed and 1 room has a full on full trundle bed. Each bedroom has its own unique style, but they all feature earthy color tones, soft carpeting, high-end linens, and handcrafted furniture. These bedrooms have locally inspired accents, flat-screen TVs, and spacious closets that make it easy to unpack your things and feel at home.

The main bathroom ensuite the main bedroom has a tub/shower combo, open shelving, and a spacious mirrored vanity with plenty of storage. Another bathroom is located on the upper floor. A half bath is located in the basement with the laundry area. The bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and a starter pack of basic toiletries for your convenience. You may need to replenish these during your stay, depending on how long you're here!

The full kitchen is an open space with modern cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and an elevated breakfast bar. The drawers and cabinets are stocked with kitchen essentials, and the full-size fridge provides plenty of space to store all of your groceries.
Small kitchen appliances like a toaster, blender, gourmet knife set, coffee maker, and spice rack all have a place on the expansive counters. We supply you with a few single-use coffee packs, creamer, and sugar to get you started. You'll also find some basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, and spices for your use. The breakfast bar has three high-top seats, and a round dining table is tucked right off the kitchen next to large glass doors that let in plenty of natural light and overlook the yard.
The living room features warm color tones, new carpet, leafy house plants, and modern furniture. Find your favorite spot on the sofa or plush armchairs and watch your favorite sports or movies on the 55" flat-screen Smart TV. The living room is surrounded by windows that allow for plenty of natural light, and electric light fixtures and locally inspired artwork complete the space.
☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆
Our hot tub is the perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing or outdoor activities. The hot tub is located in the backyard, surrounded by lush greenery and ambiance. This home sits on a large lot dotted with mature shade trees. There is a long front driveway that leads to the front porch, a perfect place to enjoy coffee and watch the quiet neighborhood wake up. The sprawling backyard is the perfect place for a family football game or backyard picnic. There is a beautiful deck with outdoor lounge furniture that looks out over the lush backyard. Please note that the yard is not fenced, so please keep an eye on your pets when they are outside. Also, take advantage of the gas BBQ grill for some delicious meals. After exploring the area, return home to cook s'mores by the fire pit !
Pet policy: Maximum of 3 pets are allowed at the property unless approved by owner. Please note the following rules for pets- 1. Pet fees is an additional $75 per pet per stay. 2. Please pick up after your pet. 3. Pet should be leashed at all times when walking in the neighborhood 4. We ask that your pet does not climb the beds or furniture. 5. Please do not leave your pet alone unattended.

Quiet hours are in effect from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum during this time, especially outdoors. No outdoor music, loud voices, or gatherings after hours.
3. No Parties or Events:
Parties, events, and unapproved guests are not allowed. Only guests listed in the reservation are permitted on the property unless prior approval is given.
4. Respect for the Home:

Dispose of trash properly
Keep spaces clean and report any damages promptly
5. Parking:
Park only in the spaces provided on the property. Street parking or blocking neighbor driveways is not permitted.

The public lake access point is located approximately 0.6 miles from the property at Fishing Site Road.

Great Getaway
We loved our spring break getaway where we were able to enjoy with two families with kids everything nearby including skiing, hiking, fishing and going into town and come back to a clean, cozy plave with plenty of rooms and a hot tub! Super affordable, too.

Perfect for weekend getaway.
My wife and I wanted a nice, quiet house with a hot tub near Traverse City. This place was superb. Everything seemed to be in new condition. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway.
15 minutes from downtown Traverse City. Easy back and forth for dining, shopping, etc.
This would also be great for a family trip to TC.
Definitely coming back.

The property was an excellent location. House was clean and had everything we needed. Only problem was hot tub water did not look clean. Steps going up to the house were quite steep for a couple of our friends. I think it needs another railing

Highly Recommend!
We are a family of 8 who rented over the New Year's holiday. The house is spacious and perfect for relaxing, cooking and playing games. The game room was really enjoyable and the hot tub is an added bonus. The beds were extremely comfortable and the 2.5 baths made it convenient for all guests. The view of the lake and the surrounding area is charming and quiet as well. Model Vacation Rentals was excellent to work with! They were very attentive and helpful; self-check in/out could not have been easier. I would highly recommend Bass Lake Retreat and Model Vacation Rentals!

Perfect stay for our friends trip!
We had a fantastic stay at this lake view property in Traverse city, Michigan! The house was well-appointed, clean, and provided all the amenities we needed. The serene surroundings made for a peaceful getaway, and the proximity to outdoor activities added to the overall experience. The spacious layout comfortably accommodated our group, and the hot tub added a luxurious touch to our evenings with. The game room provided endless entertainment, and the pool table was a big hit. The attention to detail in the property's design and amenities, along with its proximity to Bass Lake, made our vacation memorable. The host's communication was excellent, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for a great time in Traverse City!

Nice House
This house was very nice and had plenty if room for my family. I was disappointed because the hot tub wasn’t working I guess because of a storm they had the previous night. One of the reasons I chose this location was because if the hot tub. They did try and get someone out to fix it but it was the weekend. I asked for some type of compensation because if the non working hot tub but they refused. Also the mosquitos were awful, couldn’t even stay outside. I would suggest they spray the property. Couldn’t enjoy the fire pit.

Misleading and unresponsive
We booked this vrbo to have a nice short getaway for a few days with our family. Since we were bringing a baby, we would be limited in how far we could travel from the vrbo and so we wanted to pick one with plenty of options for activities nearby. This vrbo, while more expensive than some we were considering, stood out to us as it had many amenities and advertised a beach at the nearby bass lake (only a 2 minute drive!).
We were disappointed to find out, after confusion and some google searching, that the beach in the listing’s images was actually not 2 minutes away but instead over 4 miles away at another lake entirely. It was only a couple minutes closer than going to the traverse city beach. Furthermore, bass lake has no public beach, just a boat drop off.
After contacting the host to explain our dilemma and dissatisfaction with the false advertising on the listing, we got no response. However, I checked the listing recently and noticed they corrected it by removing the beach images and taking the word “beach” out of the image captions. This tells me they knowingly corrected the listing without acknowledging any wrongdoing with regard to false advertising. If you check the good reviews for this vrbo you’ll also notice most are during the winter when this false advertising would likely go unnoticed. We have reached out to vrbo and are hoping to resolve this shortly.
