Gut: Sauberkeit
Comfortable, super clean, and spacious home, great for families. Kids enjoyed birdwatching from the pool deck; pool and spa were highlights. Host communication was excellent. Host purchased additional pool towels.Check-in quirk: Keyless lock repeatedly jammed until we discovered the door must be pulled into the jamb to unlock.Kitchen: Serviceable but minimally equipped. Limited appliances (blender, Keurig, drip coffee maker, toaster). No hand mixer; manual can opener didn’t work. Two of three frying pans were scorched. Plenty of plates and service ware; good family dining/entertainment space.Heated pool enjoyed by all; controls take practice but work fine.Barbecue: Very old and very small; likely too limited for family grilling.Furniture & flooring: Older but functional. Recliner controls hidden between cushions, difficult to find; footrests stiff. Carpet clean but worn.Cleaning items: Shark Stick Vacuum was not cleaned out prior to arrival, and didn’t work well.Linens: Blankets were hard to find and few in number.Bath: Nice rain shower in principal ensuite; two hair dryers available (not listed).Pantry items: Basic spices, Maxwell House coffee & leftover opened bags by previous guests. Minimal bakeware (mainly two muffin tins).Water: Regional tap water has a strong mineral taste; recommend bottled water.
