Just a couple of blocks from the University, this was a great place for our family of three and the grandparents. Few small things like the kitchen window didn't lock, but they were responsive. We were able to walk to see the women's Sweet Sixteen tournament. It was a great base for us to get out and about to see Tucson. Had a great time!
Our first impressions were very good. The communication was excellent, the instructions were clear and helpful, and we knew if there were any issues there were a couple of contacts which were available.
The house is charming as a historic neighborhood build and there has been an attempt to retain some of that charm. The black and white tiled bathroom is gorgeous and the old white trim built-in cabinets maintain the feel of that era.
The master bedroom bed is very comfortable and that portion of the house gets toasty warm, while the front end is rather chilly. The furnishings of the house are overall not very cozy and the dining area feels a bit like sitting at a picnic table. It wasn't very condusive to gathering and enjoying an evening.
A further disappointment was the second bed was found unclean. It was made up and looked nice until pulling back the covers to find hairs and fuzz. We also found hair in the second bathroom cabinets.
Our overall experience I rated with 4 stars, but would not stay here again. The house did meet our needs to provide accomodations for our stay while taking care of some medical appointments and was reasonable for that purpose.
