« Very nice stop in the northern woods. The check in wasn't smooth. We never received the access code so we had to call a number to receive the code. It was easy after we called but would have been nice to just receive it like the email stated. There was a cigarette butt in the planter by the door which was not attractive to nonsmokers arriving. There was also a leftover towel under the bed. Otherwise, the room was very clean, the room was remodeled nicely, and it was a quiet place to stop...

« The cabin was clean and near the water with nice views. There was no TV or WiFi which was fine for us but putting it in here for others. I couldn’t get the heat on which I could have called and asked about but decided we were not super cold and simply added a layer. Yes, it was August but was 49 one night. The lock on the entrance was extremely hard to get to work properly and there is a major soft spot in the floor right by the door. The hot water is turned up to high. I was in the shower and...

« I was nervous about booking this property because of some of the poor reviews. But I booked anyways because the location was right for our needs. Let me start by saying a don’t mind “rustic accommodations” but this place lacked care. There was trash from other guests in the fire pit, the yard and a bucket on the porch with waste. Upon entry it was clean, but as you go in there is a significant slope to the rear of the home, the linoleum is rippled, the porch is uneven with warped and has rotting...

« The host was easy to work with. Early on before booking I had some questions as there was confusion about how many bedrooms and beds in the actual listing, but he clarified that and that was completely accurate. we were happy with the house, patio and pier with a great view of the lake which was on a peninsula, so there was very little boat traffic. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dishes, pots and pans, crockpot etc. It was great to have two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom did have a...

« We loved our stay. The home is well appointed-clean, secure, and welcoming. The bathrooms are modern, the beds comfy, and the family spaces, living and rec room/bar area were very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciate that kayaks and a canoe were available without additional fees. We also enjoyed the electric fireplace. Perfect spot for a multigenerational gat away. Highly recommend! »
