No mention of $75 pet fee when booking the hotel through Expedia.
Had I known this was a real charge i would have booked a different hotel.
Thankfully the employee at reception was able to waive this so I am grateful for that.
However- it’s not reasonable as a consumer to have a bunch of unknown and hidden costs that get presented to you ONLY AFTER you have booked the room.
Expedia said dog friendly and did not mention anything about a fee of $75 for staying at this hotel.
If they would have disclosed they had a $75 pet fee, again, it would have altered my decision making on booking this hotel.
When it says “all taxes and fees included” I am trusting that is the full amount that I am to be charged.
Additionally- the pet fee they are attempting to charge at this particular hotel is nearly as much as I paid for the room for one night.
I also downloaded the app and filled all that Information out the night before to get the digital keycard but still had to check in with the front desk as the key card was not available until after doing this.
Lastly- the AC system is very loud and rackety.
It just really seems like most of these things would be black and white after having millions of people all around the world stay at your hotels- I don’t care if you have a policy about charging fees for things- that is your decision as a company- however I do need to know what these charges are PRIOR to making a decision to stay at your hotel.
