Excellent stay. The bed was very comfy, I slept the best I have in ages. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic. The spa facilities were excellent we could have spent all day there. Will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful location with lots of wonderful walks. Maps are available from reception. On site facilities are excellent and Cellars Bar and restaurant well worth a visit. A very nice 3 night stay, Hope to return some time.

Just an overnight with friends for dinner and drinks around some outdoor activities but nice venue, good food, nice facilities and a welcoming buzz.

We only spent one night at The Mole Resort as we were in the area for a funeral, but the staff, our room in the Manor House, and breakfast, were all wonderful.

A lovely find in mid devon
We had a lovely brief stay at the Mole. What a lovely setting. View from breakfast was gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool and general setting but didn't have time to do much else. Would love to come for longer next time. Staff were lovely. Food was delicious.

The attentiveness and willingness of staff was outstanding. The food cannot be recommended highly enough. The refurbishment and restoration of the site (used to be High Bullen Golf Club) is very impressive. My only comment would be for improved lighting and telephones in the rooms. We stayed in two Superior Estate Rooms and were also shown around the lodges which are self catering options, absolutely superb! Thank you to Alex, Roxy and Josh for making our stay so grest

It was a first return since It ceased to be high Bullen. I last stayed here 12 years before. Much had changed and mostly for the better. The staff were very helpful and the service was perfect everywhere. We stayed one evening and left very early in the morning. I needed the wi-fi for urgent work and it was great. We had a drink in the bar and a meal in the restaurant. The meal was a disappointment. We both chose the lobster and plaice ravioli as it sounded delightful. It looked very pretty when it arrived but the white blob in the middle could have been anything. There was no hint of any lobster or fish flavour as it had been covered in a citrus sauce that was so strong that it smothered everything else. Indeed the sauce was so strong that it could not be eaten with the bread (which surprisingly we had to ask for) My wife had the braised beef which she thought was delicious and would have been perfect if it had been a bit hotter. I had the sirloin steak which I asked for "rare". Unfortunately it was overcooked and arrived as medium - with only a hint of pink The chips were excellent We were one of only 2 tables in the restaurant so the chef was not under pressure and small mistakes ruined our meal. I did however understand why there were only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant and would not return.

Fantastic mini break
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Mole, so much so, we're going back next month. All the staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful, our room was well equipped, with a comfortable bed. A great range of activities are available, & the bar & restaurant served a great range too.

Relaxed weekend in Devon
Couldn't fault it here, the staff were firendly and helpful. The place is in a beautiiful location, the pub and food is good and the pool/sauna/jacuzzi/steam room was amazing. Would highly recommend it.

Great service
Great stay.... Small mix up with the room on our arrival but the receptionist and subsequently manager (didn't take anyone's name unfortunately) dealt with it very swiftly and positively which left a great impression on us as to how the hotel is managed.

In almost every aspect our holiday at the Mole Resort was outstanding. The setting is magnificent, the grounds beautiful and well kept. Both the breakfast and dinner were of significant high standard. The breakfast especially was the best we’ve ever experienced both in the UK and in Europe. In one noteable aspect we believe the hotel was lacking. Finding the location was difficult for us and the reception staff did nothing to help us in any tangible manner. It was only after we wandered up and down dale did one of them give us the post codes which directed us to the resort. On leaving the reception we’re brusque and did not even ask us if we had enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic
Absolutely lovely 2 night stay for my sister’s 50th birthday. The staff are amazing and we had an unexpected complimentary Prosecco with a card in the room. The Cells restaurant meal was superb. We had cocktails in the cellar bar and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We are looking at a retreat here every year now. Can’t fault it. The room was furnished really nicely and we had a very comfortable stay.

The accommodation was excellent value for money
The accommodation was excellent value for money. Bedrooms each have names which makes them difficult to find. The hotel would benefit from having signs to show which way to go for the various rooms. But once I’d found the bedroom with the help of a member of staff I found it to be very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. All the staff were very professional, and helpful. There was an excellent choice of food at breakfast. I highly recommend the hotel.

Very good stay
Lovely place to stay, lots to do and attentive staff. We had a couple of minor issues but these were dealt with quickly, effectively and efficiently. Happy with the quality of the food, facilities and service.
