« What I liked was the bed was very comftorable. The room was great. That the pool was not open early. Breakfast started at 7 AM and by 7:15 AM you were out of eggs and coffee. I would also would have liked pancakes. My daugher only eats pancakes. »

« Very grand home of 1890. I was in Winona for a class reunion. The Alexander Mansion was very clean with vintage decor. Breakfast was served at a large dining room table where we could chat with the other guests. Breakfast was a 5 course meal with each course perfect in presentation and taste. Richard as an excellent host and was prepared for all our needs. Will definitely come back! »

« Very welcoming & clean property. It could use instructions for the how to operate the sofa bed and how to turn on lights over the lofts so that you have the option of not using the death stairs, or if you do, you can see them when using before bed. Also, using the arrows on the thermostat to increased the temperature so that it is not an artic tundra doesn’t seem to do anything. « We really enjoyed the stay. Darling place that’s close to Winona and cute places in Fountain City. We did wine tasting in town, went to the oldest continuously operating Pub in Wisconsin, sat on the patio and listened to live music with a drink overlooking the river. Went biking and hiking and explored the area. We loved being able to have our two dogs with us!! »

« We had a super chill girls weekend and this was the perfect spot. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and everything was easily accessible from the home’s location. The property itself was very well stocked and had everything we possibly needed. Host was very responsive and answered my many questions quickly. This home contributed greatly to the wonderful time we had catching up and relaxing and we are thankful for that. »

« We enjoyed our one night stay in cottage “2”. The bed and sofa sleeper were comfortable. The cottage was tastefully decorated (not overdone) and although it was small…the two of us were quite comfortable. The cottage itself was very clean which was much appreciated. Wished we could have stayed longer than one night but we both had to get back to work. »
