Use of lounge tea ,coffee or soda 12 till 6 pm 6till 8 pm complimentary wine ,Beer , and the basic spirits. With snacks make this a very good experience at good value. Beds comfortable, showers hot,and right in the action of Thamel.“

„This was the perfect resort to stay in post our Everest Base Camp trek. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower was hot. We received excellent service from the restaurant staff, the spa services were high quality and the pool and hot tub were very relaxing. All in all we loved our stay at the Terraces and would recommend this as a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu / Thamel. „Mein Aufenthalt im Shambala war einfach nur grossartig. Das Hotel liegt im Diplomatenviertel , und obwohl mein Zimmer zur Straße hinaus ging, war es nachts dort relativ ruhig. Nach meiner Ankunft habe zunächst ein Upgrade auf mein Zimmer bekommen, weil ich am Tag der Anreise Geburtstag hatte. Später dann gab es auf Kosten des Hauses noch eine kleine Geburtstagstorte.
