I messaged the host for two days before she responded with check-in details just a few hours before we arrived. Once there, the door code did not work and it took myself and two VRBO employees 45 minutes to get in contact with the property manager. « We really liked the room and location. It was clean and felt safe. The individual managing the property responded to our needs and questions in a timely and respectful manner. However we did not like dealing with Vrbo and the fee for having to rebook. We are seniors who sometimes have to change plans due to medical issues. Vrbo makes this difficult with the high fee. It was our first time dealing with Vrbo and we will not use this booking service again. Hopefully there is another way to book...

« This place would be a lot better in the summer when the town is actually open. Not really their fault for that but it would have been nice to have had a heads up that the town was completely dead this time of year. The space is renovated nicely. You can tell whoever did it knew what they were doing. Shower is a little on the small end. At 5'10 and 200 lb I could barely fit in it. Something to keep in mind for larger guests. All in all, for the price, this was a great stay. »

« Just a quick weekend trip with the family but the property owners made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the best parts of the area. Right down the road from Hampton Beach, walking distance to all parts of Salisbury Beach, the amenities were perfect for a fantastic beach outing. « The apartment is nicely renovated, inviting, and well laid out for living and working while you stay. I had to do some remote work during my visit and the home office space was a nice spot for it. The house is in a pleasant residential area that's a short drive to downtown Haverhill and the commuter train to Boston. Everything was clearly explained and communicated - check in, check out, navigating the space, etc. Local pastries waiting for us upon our arrival were a lovely touch! »
