Hotel Vanderbilt

« Overall an "ok" short stay. Beds were at least clean. The area around the hotel (parking lot and grassy area) is littered. Seems like a lot of long term residence as is becoming common with most hotels. Water pressure was not good as well as the shower curtain was falling off. The trash in all the hallways was over flowing and security was lax (all locked exterior doors are open and the lighting in the parking lot was very dim. The outside dumpster is OVER FLOWING and very trashy. »

« Clean and well maintained. Central heat and AC not reliable. Room temperature varies. Use your ear plugs because of noisey highway. Trees behind the lodge need cutting to prevent roof noise. Microwave and mid-sized refrigerator in room. Cable TV worked great. The bed was comfortable. No extras except soap and towels provided. Low price lodging, not luxury. »

« Breakfast was excellent. Three kinds of fresh fruit and a variety of yogurt were appreciated. And all of the meats, eggs, gravy and biscuits were prepared very well. The cinnamon rolls are always a treat. Breakfast alone is a major reason to stay. Thanks »

« I stayed here once before and loved it that’s why we came back but this time our room was placed under a family thsy was so loud and obnoxious it really ruined our stay. Not only did they keep us away from morning to night we had water leaking onto our bed and faces at 6 am. When we reported this to the hotel staff they told us there was nothing they could do because they had no rooms to move us to to and told us the family would be leaving in the morning we decided to tough it out but we stayed...

« So happy to have found Foggy Mountain Lodge and Pub. What a lovely place in a lovely setting, with good food, friendly staff, and an interesting breakfast selection in a charming room. And very reasonable prices! »

« Creative rooms that were clean and fun. No staff on site, however chat staff helpful with quick responses and solutions. Area around property sketchy, dining extremely limited in town. Town was nonexistent and not worth visiting. »

« Our stay was good. Clean but since it rained we couldn't use the deck. That would have been nice. We liked the smart TV . Overall everything was good. We would come back again. »
