Die Maisonettewohnung ist Teil einer angenehmen, gepflegten Anlage mit Ferienappartments. Die Wohnung ist hell und modern, wie auf den Fotos abgebildet, klimatisiert, WLAN gut, alle Fenster mit Mückenschutzgittern ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch zur An- und Abreise, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und ca 30 Minuten zu Fuss vom Markusplatz. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter Fabiano war ausgesprochen unkompliziert und freundlich, Wegbeschreibung, Schlüsselübergabe einfach und klar, Erreichbarkeit bei Fragen prompt und hilfreich. Wir können das Appartement uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Rundum super

Die Wohnung lag super, nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das hatte den Vorteil, mit dem Zug ankommend nicht erst durch ganz Venedig laufen zu müssen, um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen. Denn unser Auto hatten wir in Mestre in einem überwachten Parkhaus abgestellt. Dies war eine Emfehlung unseres netten Vermieters. Zu Fuß waren alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen. Aber auch die Haltestelle zum Vaporetto ( öffentliches Wassertaxi 20,00 Euro pro Tag/Person, 30,00 Euro 2 Tage/Person) war nur ein paar Min. entfernt. Die Wohnung war sauber uns sehr geräumig. Nur der Backofen fehlte in der Küche. Aber das war nicht wirklich ein Problem. Die Matratzen in den Betten waren super und so haben wir uns von den etwas anstrengenden Fußmärschen durch Venedig gut erholen können. Im oberen Badezimmer hatten wir einen Morgen hunderte von Armeisen. Aber dies kleine Problem hat unser Vermieter Fabiano im Handumdrehen gelöst. Sollten wir noch einmal nach Venedig reisen, dann immer wieder hierher.

schöne Maisonette-Wohnung

Hallo hier sind Jasmin und André , wir haben es genossen, die Zeit in Fabianos Wohnung. Kann aber trotzdem nur vier Sterne geben, weil die angegebene Badewanne gefehlt hat .Sie war für uns bei der Buchung wichtig aber sonst war alles in Ordnung Danke schön :-)

The room was as expected and comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen space, aside from coffee, but it seemed to have the basics. The neighborhood and apt were quiet, felt safe, and an easy walk to all the main points of interest. Grocery store just a few mins away. Fabiano was super friendly and helpful in explaining how best to get around Venice—thank you for such a lovely stay AND for keeping our bags for the day at check out!

Property is okay overall but lots to be improved for the worth of money paid per night. No dishwasher, dryer, less kitchen utensils, seen minor leak from upper bathroom to main floor. No store room for broom or mob as they’re in the hallway.

About 5 minutes walking distance from train station, and closed to several water bus stations. The host was very friendly. Room was clean and cozy. Buying grocery from nearby grocery was bonus. A lovely stay!

Quiet & Convenient Venice Location

We stayed at Fabiano's apartment in Venice. The apartment was well furnished and we enjoyed our stay in Venice immensely. We were able to walk to all the tourist locations yet our home was quiet and conveniently located. We had access to great restaurants and we were close to tour locations for all activities that we planned. We did a walking tour of Venice as well as a gondola ride. We walked to St. Mark's Square and there was plenty of wonderful things to do. Our journey from the apartment led us through walking streets busy with shops of all kinds. Lots of great access to shopping without the noise. Our time here was wonderful and the apartment location made it even better. We were close the train station and also the boat ferries which could take you to any part of Venice or another island. The apartment was clean and had all the essentials that we needed for our stay. Fabiano was a great host. He let us leave out luggage even after our checkout time since we were not leaving until the afternoon.

Safe & Quiet in Venice

It was a very quiet neighborhood and the home was very clean (I'm picky) Convenient: The property is conveniently located with short 13 min walk from bus/cab drop off point and an even shorter 5 min walk from the train station. Easy to walk with luggage. Bedroom: Husband and I shared room with our adult daughter upstairs because there was a big bed for us and a single for her. Host: Fabiano was helpful, responsive and very accommodating! He helped us out with our own logistic issues and we are super appreciative. We loved our stay here in Venice!

I would like to post a photo of the 8" long worm/snake that crawled into the sofa bed I slept on. The sofa is uncomfortable, dirty, and has something living inside it. The owner informed me the sofa bed is only for children to sleep on; the description says 3 beds NOT sofa for children only. No air conditioning until May meant hot, stuffy apartment. Opened the windows and biting bugs left 8 bites on face and lips while sleeping. 1 chipped mug and 1 small cup in entire kitchen plus 6 demi-tasse cups. What were 3 supposed to put coffee in? Salt caked in the shaker. Poorly prepared kitchen. Towels really rough; sheets very old and unmatched. In spite of great location and nice people, this listing needs a lot of work. First, get rid of that disgusting couch. I you advertise 3 beds, then advertise that 2 of them are NOT for adults. Then when I write a thoughtful note with photos to the owners, don't tell me it's my fault for sleeping on the sofa and you would have gladly referred us to another apartment with the proper beds when you knew I was going to sleep on the sofa because you brought me extra sheets. This was NOT my fault. Here is the note he sent: Hello Barbara, I'm very sorry about that ! I know that for adults the sofabed is not very comfortable ; if you wrote me that wanted to sleep in separate beds, I would give you the biggest apartment with three beds, not sofabed That sofabed usually is for children About the centipede, it's the first time in 15 years

fantastic location, easy walk from train station

The apartment was clean and spacious. Great for a short stay and the location is great if arriving by train. Only one small bridge with steps to cross. It is missing typical amenities as compared to other apartments I have rented in Italy. For instance, no drying rack for clothes (but great washing machine), few dishes and glasses, fan. The lighting is dim especially in the kitchen. Overall, a good place to stay for a short vacation.

Great location - convenient to the train station, bus office, and taxi stands - so you don't have to drag luggage through the sidewalks of Venice. Safe, gated area. Nice and helpful apartment manager.

Nice place

Pros: close to St.Lucia train station, Vaporetto boats stops, shopping area includes two supermarkets, various small shops, taverns and bakeries. Place has max occupancy for 5 people: one sofa bed on the first floor , queen and twin beds on the second floor. Modern furniture, nice small kitchen and washer (no dryer) on the first floor. Cons: only local Italian TV channels, not a single one in English. No local phone. We stayed for 8 days and our sheets/towels were not changed, no cleaning for 8 days. We contacted the property management twice for two different reasons. They promised to call us back , but they never did. Place is a little claustrophobic because it has tiny narrow windows up to the ceiling. Minimum toilet paper and one garbage bag: we needed to buy extra paper and bags.

A nice tidy house set in a quiet area of Venice a short walk/boat ride to the major landmarks

A couple a of teething problems at the start (slow internet, lack of cups) but they were sorted out on the first day by Frederike. Major boat stop 5 mins away at the station which was very useful. We bought a 48 pass and traveled everywhere by boat including the islands. Food and drink much cheaper when you get away from the major tourist sites. Had a great time.

Great and quiet location with easy access to Vaporetto and close to the train station.

We loved arriving at the train station and walking just 5 minutes to get to the apartment. Fabiano was an attentive owner and had one of his colleagues greet us and give us all the information we needed. Prior to our arrival, any time I had any questions, Fabiano was quick to respond. Right beside the train station is a Vaporetto stand which makes it easy to get to all the major attractions, should you choose not to walk. We loved the fact that the location was quiet and away from busy attractions, and yet easy to get to them when we chose to do so. Thank you Fabiano for a great stay.

Venice Vacation

Nice to be reasonably close to train station. Comfortable apartment, everything worked. Was quite location, were only really there to sleep which was great. Weren't any windows for natural light on main floor. They were flexible with our check in schedule which we changed , which we appreciated. Communication was good. Manager was there to meet us, took time to explain things, make suggestions which was nice.

Location,location,location!

My husband and I stayed here from Oct.22-Oct 26.The unit is very conveniently located to all of your transportation needs.We thought the apt. Was exactly as advertised, well equipped, comfortable, safe, and clean. What a magnificent city! There are many restaurants nearby to choose from, including a lovely cafe just over the big bridge for morning cafe latte and croissants.If I had to find something negative, it would be the lack of fluffy pillows, and the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but you’re in Venice so who cares?!
