Property was pet friendly, which was a major pat of our decision. The property was exactly what we needed. I think it might be a goo idea to tell that it is in a campground up front, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

The code-door lock was difficult to use and not very intuitive. Upon arrival, the dishwasher was full of clean dishes that we had to unload and put away ourselves.The home is very bare-bones in terms of supplies. Although the listing states it accommodates up to 10 guests, there were not even enough bath towels for our group of seven. Kitchen supplies and cookware were very limited. While the cabin is cute and tidy, it could really benefit from a thorough deep clean. Given the 250 cleaning fee, the condition was unacceptable. There was hair left in the bathroom from previous guests, and socks are a must—feet will turn black quickly. We understand the wooded setting, but there were a significant number of bugs throughout the house, both dead and alive. Guests hoping for additional wildlife sightings should look under the kitchen sink where mouse droppings and a trap were present.Most online reviews are very positive, but inside the cabin is a guest book encouraging feedback. After reading over a year’s worth of entries, it was clear the same issues are repeatedly mentioned: bugs, poor cleanliness, lack of blankets and the need for more mirrors in bedrooms, insufficient kitchen supplies, and a master bathroom sink that doesn’t drain properly. All of these issues were still present during our stay, suggesting the feedback has not been addressed.This property could be really great with more attention to detail, but based on our experience, we would not stay here again.

Overall this was a great VRBO to stay at with our family. The major things were clean when we arrived but some areas that wouldn't be a part of a weekly cleaning could stand to be deep cleaned. Our kids loved the game room upstairs and the playground and pool in the campground. It was nice being able to watch our kids at the playground from the deck. The staff were great and very responsive. We had an issue with a loose spindle on the railing that was giving way and they had it fixed within an hour of me letting them know. Our biggest issue was the wifi. The house has 4 smart TVs but we couldn't even use them because the wifi isn't strong enough and shows would keep stopping. If we had known that ahead of time we would have brought a DVD player with us for movie night/rest time shows. Another thing that could be better is the amount of dishes in the kitchen. There are 2 pots and 2 frying pans but only 1 small cookie sheet. And then for eating on there are only 7 big/dinner plates which isn't even enough for the 10 that this house can sleep. We would still definitely recommend this place if you are ok with bad wi-fi and cell reception! It is a great central location for visiting the ark encounter, creation museum and places in Cincinnati! I also highly recommend the Walton community Park. It has a really nice playground, splash pad, tennis and basketball courts, a disc golf course, etc.

Awesome experiance, check in smooth, great communication, clean. Nice deck, used often, could view the kids playing on playground. Kids enjoyed pool. Cooked breakfast daily, would be easier with non stick fry pan, but overall great relaxi g experience.

Cabin was spacious and well furnished. Beds and sofa were exceptionally comfortable! Campground office is in the basement of the cabin, but it was no issue at all! Very tranquil campground with friendly and family-oriented campers. Very well maintained. The playground was great! The pool was clean. A nice basketball goal was available for my son, which was also great! The fenced dog-run was nice! My only tip would be to bring extra towels and washcloths. The wifi was spotty, but we could use our hotspots on our cell phones, so that was not a real issue. There were ants in the kitchen, so food was kept in a cooler or the fridge. They were aware and working to remediate the issue. Overall, great stay! Would stay again and highly recommend!

Amazing A frame!

The place was very clean, had a washer and dryer. Air hockey, foosball, and an old school video game arcade. Checking in and checking out was so easy! A playground right in front of the place and dog park. It is very close to many attractions.

This home had mouse poop on each level of the home. I would imagine it was swept well before we arrived as we noticed this droppings in the middle of the night when we went to the master bathroom, not there prior. Found under master bed, hallway outside master, behind the couch and beside the fridge. We did pack up early the next morning and let the office downstairs know the reason. They along with Shelly, district manager both stated this was the first they had ever had this happen. I’m not sure I believe that as they did say when they went up there they found droppings under the sink. I had never mentioned the sink and had looked there the night before when we arrived to see what may be in the cabinets, nothing was there at that time. I mentioned other areas that they never mentioned seeing anything. We stayed less the 24 hours of our 5 night reservation, having to find another home to stay in. Once I tried to ask about any reimbursement all communication stopped and nothing further has been said. We also mentioned walking our small dog the night before and that the leash rule was not being followed by some and had a dog come at us and our dog, as the owner stood and did nothing. Again told by office and Shelly this was a first. Seems we must be the first for everything other than showing their apologizes for the inconvenience and delay in our trip.

Labor Day get away

We rented this cottage to be close to the Ark Encounter & the Creation Museum. It was right in the middle of both. The cottage was neat and clean as well as spacious. Plenty of pillows & blankets. Nice seating area and a few fun games. Although it is a rustic environment, there were a few things missing that could have made the stay easier. Like a hair dryer, colander and maybe a single use laundry soap and mini shower soap/shampoo would have been nice. Also many of the units towels we discovered on day 2 were left in the dryer. Overall a great stay. Our 6 year old loved the pool!

Convenient location for Ark and Creation Museum

Property was cute, clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was a little spotty. Kids enjoyed the playground and pool. We had a little trouble with the keyless door code pad at first, but the property managee got it fixed quickly.

My husband and I with our daughter and 2 grandkids 10 & 8 stayed the week. Very nice stay. Great location. Pool and playground came in handy for entertaining the grandkids. Beautiful house. Nicely done. Game room was a plus.
