I initially wanted to stay at The Place Firenze since it was the place where my wife and I stayed for our honeymoon two decades ago. But I gotta tell you, this is one of the best places to stay in Florence. It is located slightly off the duomo area(about 25 min of walking distance) where you see local people and not so many tourists. It worked out as our base camp where we can relax and get away from the hustle ...

„The person at the reception was rude. We had informed beforehand our late arrival for which he gave us a code to enter. As was the case, the code had to be entered twice, once on the main door and second time on the reception door. As it was late and dark we did not see the second code. On calling and asking him the procedure he panicked and was behaving rudely with us. We even apologized to him for coming late but still his rude behaviors continued. „I can really recommend staying at Agriturismo Petrognano! Very nice apartments and outdoor space. Furthermore the host Nicco was very friendly and also very helpful when it came to recommending restaurants, winefarms etc. It is not the last time we visit this place.“

„Leider war das Zimmer bei unserer Ankunft um 18 Uhr noch nicht fertig. Das Personal war aber außerordentlich nett und haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben,damit man sich wohl fühlt. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß, wenn auch etwas hellhörig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!“
