Beach Bungalow 3 à quelques rues de l'océan

Ce bungalow sur la plage avec 2 chambres et 1 salle de bains, récemment rénové, se trouve à seulement 5 pâtés de maisons du bord de l’océan. Ceci est une unité en bas complète avec une cuisine moderne et un coin café salle d'entrée. Salon équipé d'une télévision intelligente à écran plat de 55 pouces et d'une cheminée numérique. Blanchisserie complète disponible dans l'unité. Il y a aussi une unité à l'étage (Beach Bungalow 2) qui peut être ajoutée / combinée pour les grands rassemblements avec un degré de séparation.

Beach bungalow

Property was super small, but newish. Only 3 people can really stay comfortably and not much place to sit and chill out especially since it rained most of our stay.

My stay was nice I’m glad I got to have the experience and spend time with our group, it wasn’t too far from the beach just about a 10-15 minute walk which is fine if you don’t mind walking, I loved the set up of the bathroom

"Vibing" with Virginia Beach

Prior to staying at this property I had read some of the reviews ...and was skeptical that it could meet my expectations of what I have come to expect when traveling. Upon arriving we found out that this unit is on the edge off the "Vibe" district in Virginia beach that is strewn with coffee shops, Cafes, and filled with local businesses and people that truly want nothing more than to relax - and help you do the same. The unit was clean, towels were soft, and the furniture (Including beds) were comfortable. The decor is EACTLY what you would expect from a "beach place".....but NOT items from a thrift store or in poor taste. You can tell that alot of thought went into purposely planning out each room and decorating the unit appropriately. The Kitchen in the unit - while not large - is very well laid out and has new appliances, (Including a huge refrigerator) is fully stocked with dishware, and has more than you need on vacation. The TV in the living room looks great and the electric fireplace gives the room a very nice look. The unit has a full size washer // dryer in a separate area with a door - so it will not disturb you while it is running. The unit is on the bottom floor (with another unit on top), but there was minimal noise, and the air conditioning kept it very cool!!! There is parking for two cars (depending on the other units), and you are about a 5 block walk to the beach. I am sure there would be people that would say - "this could be better" - "that could be better" - or "I would have prefered"..but if you just want to relax and enjoy what Virginia Beach has to offer ...and you are a couple, small family, or two couples....look no further....You can't go wrong here!!! Happy Vacationing!!!!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay, the property was close to restaurants and local breweries as well as a short walk to the beach. The property was as listed and had everything we needed, the only suggestion I would make is to add a few full length mirrors to ease getting ready when the bathroom is in use. Would definitely stay again!

Nice Photos, Terrible Stay

We stayed at Beach Bungalow 3 from June 30 - July 5, 2019. While the place looks great in photos, we had a terrible stay. This place has great potential: 6 blocks from the beach, nicely decorated, recently updated bathroom and kitchen, and a nice layout with separate master bedroom and bunk room for kids. We were initially disappointed that the kids’ bedroom door did not close, the bathroom door did not lock, and the master tv had no outlet nearby making it unusable (unless you bring your own extension cord, I guess). We also could not find a washer/dryer even though the listing advertised both in the unit. The owner’s solution was to coordinate with the upstairs neighbors to use their washer/dryer, or he offered to do our laundry himself (no, thank you). Our biggest hang up, however, was the activity in the unfinished room on the other side of the master bedroom (only a glass door separates the two rooms). We thought it odd that there was an extension cord from our room, under the door, to the unfinished room. We unplugged the cord from our room to plug in our laptop, and a homeless-looking man came to our door at 11:30 pm and asked us to plug it back in because he needed it for his fan and fridge in the unfinished room. We know that he slept there that night because we heard him coughing all night and could smell the smoke from his cigarettes in our bedroom. We called Steve, the owner, and he claimed he knew nothing about the man staying there. When the homeless-looking man showed up another night, Steve refused to get involved. My family felt unsafe having an unknown person staying in an unfinished porch separated only by a pane of glass and a curtain. We threatened to call the police and the man left. On a final note, the ceiling in the dining room started leaking water our last day and we had to put pots under the drips, which were inconvenient as we were packing up to leave. The owner did not help at all. We would never recommend this rental to friends or family.
