On the positive side, it has a great deck with besieged views of the sunset. The sitting area inside was also nice with great visibility out the back towards the sunsets. The kitchen was functional and with the exception of needing some measuring cups / spoons reasonably stocked. It’s in a good location as well. You can walk to Sandbridge beach (about 10 minute walk) or bike through town or out on the preserve. Roads were bike friendly and drivers courteous.
On the negative side, it’s not a cottage, it’s an RV, a fairly large one, but it’s still a camper. That means that there is very little room to walk around the outside of the king sized bed in the bedroom. If we were a large individual it would have been very difficult to get in and out of bed. They’d be better off with a queen sized bed. The bathroom was also small, it was fine for us, but we are 2 smaller adults. And finally, the AC unit is on the roof and it’s LOUD. And lastly, the wind blowing across the top of the camper is louder than expected as well.
Don’t get me wrong, we lived in an RV full time for a bit over a year and this unit is much nicer than the one we used. But, its still an RV and not a cottage.
