« This place is a gem! Just a convenient eight miles from the town of Cape Charles, this 3 room inn sits on its own private beach in its own little oasis of peace and beauty. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and the host is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I really felt like a guest in someone’s home. I highly recommend the Baywood - the in town properties look very nice but everything is so easily accessible that it’s more than worth it to stay in this off the beaten path spot...

« Amazing is all I can say!!! The property was beautiful. The owner greeted us and gave us a tour, etc-our room, common areas, and where breakfast would be served. Speaking of breakfast- we were offered (and I ate) a delicious frittata with a yogurt parfait. We enjoyed our stay and we will again. »

« The hosts at Aldrich House are great and provide a wonderful breakfast served family style in the beautiful home. Overall a very clean and lovely setting to relax for the few days we were in town to visit Williamsburg. Very easily walkable distance (about 10 minute walk with sidewalks all the way) to downtime Colonial Williamsburg. Free to visit town, but you will need tickets for events and attractions. Stayed here over July 4th and crowds not an issue at all. »
