Clay Cottage - Magnolia, Baylor et le centre-ville de Waco

Nous venons de terminer le réaménagement de ce joli cottage et nous souhaitons que votre séjour soit extraordinaire. Notre chalet dispose de 3 chambres, une avec un lit queen, une avec un lit double et une avec deux lits jumeaux. Il y a une cuisine pleine grandeur avec tous les appareils en acier inoxydable. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse pour votre commodité et la salle de bain a une baignoire et une douche. La cour comprend un terrain ombragé avec un barbecue au charbon de bois et une terrasse. Il y a une allée et un parking d'angle. Nous sommes à quelques minutes à pied du marché / silos de Magnolia et à quelques minutes en voiture des stades Baylor et McLane.

Detailed Review: The rental is EXACTLY what it says it is. A 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage type home. It’s not a perfect picture book home, and that’s actually what gave the home charm and made it more comforting. The beds/bedding were comfy. Very close to Baylor and restaurants for parents coming to visit. The home is cozy, and we had a great visit. The owner is amazing with communication, and the pre-visit communication was the best I’ve ever had in 17 years of using this site, addressing possible issues beforehand. The neighborhood is under renovation (as most of Waco is); that said, it is safe and the few people we experienced in the area were kind. We sat on the front porch and talked for a while and had a great time. As far as if being a loud neighborhood, I guess if you live in a very quiet area it is. There is a nice bar/grill spot a street or so over, if you’re sitting outside you can hear music from there. Inside I heard nothing. Neither bothered me and the music was actually nice. I think I heard a car once. As a nurse, the only warning I would give is that it’s a pier and beam foundation, so there is some sloping for older or balance impaired people. There is only one bathroom which did not bother us at all, but again for older or balance impaired people, stepping in and out of the tub is a slight change in height that you should be aware of. Other than those things, this is a great spot that we sincerely enjoyed. Will likely stay again when visiting our Bear.

Communication and check in process was seamless. Darling, well-appointed accommodations right in the heart of downtown Waco. We appreciated having such a comfortable stay close to Baylor while we moved our son into his dorm. Thank you!

Clay Cottage stay

Cute and very clean with everything you need to enjoy a stay. It’s an older house, so floors are sloping but I thought that added to the charm. Noise from street can be loud. Also there’s a freight train nearby that seems to go by at 3am and doesn’t stop blowing its whistle. Woke me up each night. Microwave stopped working a few times which was surprising because it’s a new one. Owner said he’d look into it. Speaking of owner, he’s very responsive and answers all questions immediately. Walking distance to Magnolia and restaurants. Lots of nice rehabs on the street but also some run down properties, but we felt safe.

Lovely experience

The Clay Cottage is well appointed and comfortable, accommodating my family of six. The owners are gracious, kind, and excellent communicators. They provided a home that was appointed to allow us to prepare our meals and find refuge from the Texas heat during our stay. We were able to walk to many of the places we visited in Waco. This was a nice experience that was enhanced by the owners kindness.

Great location with charm!

A cute little house in a great location for accessing most of downtown Waco! We were able to walk to all the restaurants, shops, and attractions on our list! Plenty of street lights so we felt comfortable walking home from dinner even as it started getting dark. We ways travel with white noise machines, so had no trouble with street noise. Highly recommend!

Girls’ Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect spot for our 3 generation girls’ shopping trip. We were able to walk to boutiques and the silos and it was just a short drive to the places we wanted to eat. It was clean and we felt safe.

Girls Trip to Magnolia

Girls trip to Magnolia Silos and a day trip into Austin. Lots of fun. A home tour of the Castle featured on Fixer Upper was a highlight! House was perfect walking distance tonthe Silos. Dinner at Hotel 1928 was fabulous. Do the bat boat ride in Austin.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed a wonderful two-day stay at the Clay Cottage! The location is just a couple blocks from the Silos in a clean and fairly quiet neighborhood. A terrific base from which to explore all that Waco has to offer. Such a perfect spot to visit with friends in the cozy living room or around the fire pit out back. It was easily the best-equipped rental we have ever stayed in with all the kitchen necessities you would need. The beds were so comfortable! David was a great host with immediate response to any questions we had. We can’t wait to return for another stay.

Wonderful!

Clay Cottage is an excellent option in Waco. Great location to Baylor as well as super close to Magnolia and so many things Waco. House was adorable with many little touches. Host was available with helpful info about the house, Waco and timely with check-in and check-out information. Neighborhood was safe. We will definitely look at staying here again!

Waco getaway

The house was adorable and perfect for me, my daughter and my 3 grandsons. The location was great as far as Magnolia Market, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame , the zoo and all the great restaurants!! Dave the host, was phenomenal in communicating everything from start to finish. Overall a great experience and trip!!

PERFECT Location!!!

We absolutely loved our stay in this cute and charming home on Clay Ave! We were in Waco for Baylor’s Orientation for my freshman daughter and moving my junior daughter into a new house so this trip was a working trip for us! The location was perfect and only 2 blocks from Magnolia so I was able to walk to Magnolia Press every morning for coffee. My daughter and friend staying with us did morning runs around the silo district and neighborhood daily too and felt very safe. Clay Ave is a busy street but we never had any issues with noise at night. Also the beds were some of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. We’ve stayed in many rentals and it was so nice to come back home after a long day and get a good nights sleep. The house had everything, even a hairdryer for each bedroom which was such a bonus allowing us to dry our hair in the bedroom while someone else used the bathroom. One bathroom was never a problem - the house has everything you need, even extra toiletries, and the owners had cute baskets in each room with waters and chocolates for us upon arrival! Such a wonderful home and we will definitely stay again!

The house was adorable! The beds were very comfortable and washer came in handy when my sister spilled sauce on her sweater. So convenient only 3 blocks from Magnolia Silos! Great neighborhood!

An adorable, very homey and tastefully decorated 3 bedroom within walking distance to everything Silo!! Great communication, easy to get to and conveniently located! So many amenities available/included. We were very pleased with our 5 day stay!

Overall wonderful property. Only issue is it sits on a very busy road with loud traffic all night. Cars blaring music were driving by all night. That said, it’s close to down town and accommodations were great. Just bring ear plugs for night time.

Great place!

I came to visit Waco with my daughter and 2 grandkids ages 2&3. We had a wonderful stay at Clay Cottage. The beds were comfy, the living room was cozy and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and offered many wonderful suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area. The location was perfect, it was a quick walk to the Silos and we felt very safe. Check-in and out was a breeze. I highly recommend staying at Clay Cottage!
