Designed for gathering, reconnecting, and marking meaningful moments, this home blends island tradition with comfort and serenity, embraced by the natural beauty, mountain views, and quiet rhythm of Makaha Valley on Oʻahu’s West Side, just minutes from pristine beaches and golden sunsets and ocean breezes.

Warmest Aloha and e komo mai (welcome) to Haku Hideout, a legal short-term vacation rental located in beautiful Makaha Valley on the west coast of Oahu!

Minutes from the pristine and sun-bathed Makaha Beach, Haku Hideout is a newly-constructed single-family, two-story home, peacefully nestled in the quiet, security-managed gated community of Mauna 'Olu Estates. This spacious and well-appointed home provides a haven for friends or families to relax together, reconnect, and explore and enjoy the beautiful Oahu Island and beaches of Oahu. Spacious and crowned with local works of art and tasteful décor, Haku Hideout offers four (4) fun and thoughtfully decorated bedrooms, two (2) full baths and one (1) half bathroom.

In all living areas and bedrooms, you will find cool Mitsubishi Electric split air conditioning units, a fully-stocked kitchen, upgraded Whirlpool washer and dryer, laundry detergent and supplies, and an epic game room with standing arcade games and full-sized game tables such as pool, air hockey, and foosball. Haku Hideout provides parking for three (3) vehicles.



Living Area: Pull Out Queen Bed Couch / Floor Matrress

Relax and reconnect with family and friends in the lively yet calming living area, featuring a queen pull out couch and twin size floor mattress. A Mitsubishi Electric cool split AC, and a variety of comfortable couches and sofas. Relax with a drink while enjoying the view of the majestic Wai’anae Mountain Range through the large windows, which allow the natural light to flood the area. (Can’t see the awe-inspiring mountain landscape? No problem. Just click the “home” button on the white remote to simultaneously raise the motorized blackout window shades.) Enjoy the game or stream a movie, on the wall-mounted Samsung 75-inch 4K UHD HDR flat-screen Smart Television. Looking for something more interactive? Test your gaming skills with the new Play Station 5, equipped with two controllers and Dual Sense charging station. Wanting to engage and share time with the little ones? Read together one of the variety of Hawaii-themed books, or play any of the many family-oriented board games.

Fully stocked with Whirlpool dual element range and oven, Whirlpool refrigerator and freezer, Whirlpool dishwasher, and Pure Blue H2O water filtration system. Romantic dinner for two or feeding an army? We’ve got you covered. (Downstairs floor-level Primary Bedroom)

The Mauka View Suite offers beautiful mountain and garden views. Sleep soundly on a California King bed with a luxuriously supportive Beauty Rest Harmony mattress with dual adjustable bed base; accompanied by two nightstands with lamps, large 6-drawer dresser, cool split Mitsubishi Electric AC unit, and a Samsung 75-inch 4K UHD HDR flat-screen Smart Television with cable. Additional full size floor mattress if needed available. The room offers both a walk-in closet and an additional full closet, both with built-in shelves and drawers; Sentry Safe (extra-large), Pure Enrichment PureSteam XL Standing Fabric Steamer, Shark hand-held steamer, Black + Decker EvenSteam iron and full-sized ironing board, laundry basket and suitcase stands. The attached private full bath is spacious and beautifully decorated and features a double Kohler sink vanity, walk-in shower with Kohler HydroRail dual shower system, Toto Washlet bidet, and is stocked with the essentials, including Conair 1875 blow dryer, Conair Instant Heat curling iron and an Infinity Pro flat iron, as well as a generous assortment of complementary fragrant hand and shower soap, shampoo and conditioner.

The Makaha Country Room (Second bedroom):

Colorful and vibrant, this room features a Queen bed with a Black Label Beauty Rest mattress, nightstand and floor lamp, split Mitsubishi Electric AC unit, additional seating, full-sized closet with built-in shelves and drawers; laundry basket and suitcase stands. No television.

The Moana Blue Wave Room (Third bedroom):

This room offers beautiful mountain views and overlooks the garden and private outdoor recreation area. Sleepy peacefully in a Queen bed with a luxurious Premium Black Label Beauty Rest mattress, medium firmness, accompanied by nightstands and floor lamps, cool split Mitsubishi Electric AC unit, additional seating, full-sized closet with built-in shelves and drawers; work station with HP personal printer, laundry basket and suitcase stands. No television.

The Pink Hibiscus Room (Fourth bedroom)

This room offers stunning mountain views. Sleepy peacefully in a Queen bed with a luxurious Premium Black Label Beauty Rest mattress, medium firmness, accompanied by nightstands and floor lamps, cool split Mitsubishi Electric AC unit, additional seating, full-sized closet with built-in shelves and drawers; laundry basket and suitcase stands. No television.

The Game Zone:

The Game Zone offers hours of fun, laughs, and competition for the entire family. Compete on the full-sized air hockey table, and full-sized foosball table. "Kids" of all ages will love the full-sized arcade games, including NBA, WWE, Street Fighter 2, Pac-man, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Simultaneously enjoy the game, a movie, or videos on the wall-mounted LG 75-inch webOS Smart Television.
