Beach House With A Wonderful View

The beach house was beautiful with great views very comfortable beds very spacious. What was real surprising for a house that accepts dogs there was no dog smell so that was very nice.A couple of things that could use some Tinder loving care was the dining room chairs were quite soiled, and one of the couches had a missing leg on it and and needed some cleaning. One of the chairs in the breakfast nook is very loose. And the toilet paper holder needed to be tightened at the bottom. If we had the proper tools, it would’ve been no problem tightening up the one chair in the breakfast nook and the toilet paper holder stand. Despite these things, it is a wonderful place and would definitely stay there again. Thank you so very much for a wonderful experience.The Carter’s and The Howland’s

Basic House on the Beach

Great house for a family with younger children. It would be easy to keep track of everyone. We had teens taking showers and being up late and it is very noisy. Otherwise, the beach is literally right there and access is simple. The kitchen is understocked and we had to buy utensils

Lovely Home

The management company (Sweet Homes) was very communicative and easy to work with. The home was as described and very clean upon arrival. The neighborhood is quiet with a great sandy beach. While some of the furniture could use some fixing or updating, all of the beds were top notch and SO comfortable! We slept great! The fireplace, ping pong table, and hot tub were a great addition as the weather was extra moody and cold during our stay. Overall, 10/10 would recommend!

Comfortable, Everything we needed

This isn't the fanciest home we've stayed in on the coast but everything was just as advertised. We were comfortable and happy. The beds were great, lots of hot water, comfortable heating system, kitchen was adequate. I would only improve it by providing dry wood and kindling for the fire and better couches. I have to say they were not comfortable to lounge around on. Could definitely use an upgrade there.

Family Getaway

This home is in a quaint beachfront community. The access to the beach and "sand dunes" (as our kids called it) was perfect. The beach, waves, and sand dunes was a perfect build in babysitter! We were able to enjoy the kids playing for hours (ages 4, 6, 7, 12, and 12!). There was a major issue with the washing machine and the property manager was available, helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The hot tub was great and had a locked feature that we appreciated greatly with our crew! I would note there was a strong crab smell and residue in the garage fridge that we cleaned upon arrival but remained through the stay. I would also be aware that unlike some other home rentals, this kitchen has the equipment but no basic staples for cooking/etc. So bring your spices, flour, sugar, creamer, coffee etc! We were very pleased with our stay and will hopefully stay here again!

Amazing!

This home was perfect for our stay. It is an older home but has had some nice updates. It is a good size with a great floor plan. We loved that there was a beautiful beach right out our back door and the hot tub was wonderful to relax in in the evening. It had everything that we needed for our stay and the host was quick to respond and take care of any issues we had.

Great location, but expensive with a few oddities

We really enjoyed staying here. The view and access to the beach is wonderful. The house is mostly very clean, plenty of towels and linens. The beds are comfortable and firm. Check in and out was easy. However, given the price point, I would have expected some things to be much better. The house is overall well appointed, but some things like ripped couch cushions, clear packing tape to repair the coffee table, and duct tape to close up the pet door to the garage were not great. The kitchen was infested with sugar ants and they were a bother all three days we were there, no ant traps placed when we arrived. The kitchenware is not good quality - warped pots and pans, some super cheap things, others decent quality. The hot tub is nice but dated. We have stayed at about three other VRBO houses in Bayshore/Waldport over the years with equivalent quality, but for being right on the beach. So if you rent this place you're really paying for the view. I'd rather pay less in the same area to be a block or two away from the beach access in the future.

Lots of windows.

We were fortunate to have lots of sun during our stay at Waldport. This house with all of its windows highlighted the beautiful sunshine and the outstanding view of the beach. The check-in process was easy though not being able to check in until 5:00 was disappointing. We would stay here again.

Wonderful

This was one of the best vacation homes in which we've stayed. The check in was on an iPad. The house was wonderful with amazing access to the ocean and a hot tub looking west at the sunsets. It was quiet and had a week equipped kitchen. Great lighting. Very relaxing. Even the check out prices was easy. Highly recommend.

Waldport beach house

The location is great, on a not very busy, wide beach. The house was very musty and required deep cleaning. The maid service was good (kitchen and bathrooms were clean and bedrooms were dusted with clean sheets) but window sills and screens were very dirty. Sofa beds were also very dirty. I was glad i had a day before my relatives came to air things out and clean.

Great house, amenities and views!

Fantastic stay!! Wonderful views of the pacific, lovely patio for watching the pacific and a fantastic hot tub with wonderful views. Perfect way to celebrate August on the Oregon coast.

Great stay

Loved our stay at Beach Time! Excellent place, great location! The check in process is several steps on a tablet inside the property, which is a little cumbersome. Tried to text the property manager the following when we left, but didn't hear back: Just wanted to relay a couple things in case they weren't known before. We couldn't find the TV remotes for the master or the king bedroom. We didn't end up watching TV anyways so it was fine. One of the green swivel chairs by the windows has a wonky base. There is a really nice corn hole set in the garage, but we couldn't find any bean bags. Thank you!

Nice family trip

Went here for a summer trip and the house was good. Might need a few updates, but I imagine upkeep is tough on the ocean with the weather. Location is nice. The deck is amazing and the house has beautiful views of the ocean. We saw whales the whole trip right off the beach. Good access to beautiful and not crowded beach. Layout of the house is really nice and comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet. About 20 or so minutes to Newport and there are some good restaurants nearby. Had a very relaxing stay.

Romantic Getaway

This was my partner’s and I first time together. I always go to the Oregon coast. This home was so cozy and the pictures do not do it justice on how beautiful it is! We brought our pups who loved the beach. Thank you for having this space to create such wonderful memories! We will be back!
