Pagayez sur le lac dans l'un des bateaux et facilement amende nature au travail ou asseoir et se rappeler pourquoi venir au lac est si important pour la famille et les amis.
We enjoyed the well-kept home, beautiful landscaping, wildlife, and clean water. Our family and dogs swam and kayaked tons. The lake was not too busy, and neighbors were friendly. The home seems on the older side, but we made the close quarters work. The steps to the upper floor are steep, but there was a bedroom for the less physically capable adults on the main floor. Two upper bedrooms are close with a pocket door separating them which needed to stay open for the ac to reach both rooms the master is cozy with a king-sized bed and sometimes became the quiet place. For a week of family connection, we had everything we needed, and the hosts are right next door for questions or problems, which they always addressed in a timely manner. Fun week.
We had a wonderful time with our whole family - including our young adult children, 90 year old dad, and springer spaniel. The house was perfect, and the lake was absolutely beautiful.
Fantastic property on the lake with a gorgeous backyard and steps leading up to the lake. Room on the ground floor is perfect for older people and rest of the quarters upstairs works well for a family with kids. The backyard patio seating at various levels allows for breakfast in a beautiful setting. Two downsides to consider - the water from the taps is metallic. Do not recommend drinking. Bathing will also leave an after smell It's an escape location. Not much close by so recommend to buy from Muskegon and then stay here. Overall still highly recommend the place for the amenities and price
We were very pleased with everything at this property. Clean, cozy & comfortable. We'd love to come back when it's warmer to take advantage of the amenities
The house was adorable! It was just two of us, but there would have been plenty of room for family or a few couples. The lake view was gorgeous. Jennifer was a great host, super easy to communicate with! We were just there to get away from home and relax for a weekend, and it was perfect for that. Would love to come back in the summer, stay a little longer, and make more use of the lake!
Old lake house with plenty of charm and supplied with everything you will need. The weather was perfect and hosts Jennifer and Kevin were wonderful. They gave us a relaxing ride around the lake in the pontoon boat. And the sleep number bed in the master bedroom was awesome. Will definitely be back when we are in the area!
Perfect little get away for my husband and I and 2 dogs. The views were beautiful, flowers, birds, (including swans and hummingbird) fishermen catching fish. Lots of cute art. the dogs loved the lake. It was a little too chilly for us to enjoy the lake, but thatâs kinda expected in WI in September. The fireplace kept us toasty.
The house is old, but plenty of places to sleep. Reminds me of Grandmas house with room for the cousins to get together and eat, play and hang out together.
Our hosts were great! Helpful and accessible for questions before and throughout our stay. I would do this one again!
We celebrated our sonâs 15th birthday with some of his friends and this lakehouse was the perfect set up. The kids were in the water the entire time ; fishing, rowing, swimming and kayaking. The location was wonderful and only an hour and 20 minute trip from Chicago. We would definitely rent again!!
This property, while a little tired in some areas, makes for a great, old-fashioned lake house vacation. The owner is wonderful and is right next door whenever we had a question. All the "extras" that come with the property - kayaks, paddle boards, row boat -- made for a great family vacation for those lake-lovers and fisher-people. We started every morning on the dock fishing -- and the kids had the very best time!
Very positive. We very much enjoyed the use of a pontoon boat, which was an extra, as well as several kayaks and a rowboat, which were part of the regular rental agreement. We have two young fisherman in the family who enjoyed fishing off the pier and from the boat.
The front lawn and garden was a popular spot for fun with the kids, as well as relaxing at a both upper level and beach level. There were many waterfront accessories in the boathouse to which we had unlimited access. Every night, we built a fire and enjoyed sâmores by the lake. Our hosts were very eager to help us enjoy our stay, very accessible and friendly.
The outside was fabulous, that is where we spent most of our time. Jennifer was so nice and accommodating. The house is old but was fine. There was water damage in the downstairs bedroom that really bother my husbands asthma, other than that is was good. Really enjoyed our time and had a relaxing time. I would stay again
Great lakefront access and cozy outdoor seating was perfect for my family bookclub weekend! Very much appreciated the host being available during our visit. Great quiet get away!
This was a great place for our family to get together. Lots of bedrooms and space to spread out. Nice places to hang out together inside or out. We rented the pontoon for a day and took the grandson tubing, then watched the sunset from the lake. Our daughter said it was 'the perfect place'.
This spot is a lake cottage gem. My wife and I spent 2 full months with 2 dogs and it exceeded my expectations. From swans at out pier to gardens blooming, it was delightful. The owners, now friends, were always helpful and available. We are seniors and the upstairs master was not a problem! We were all sad to leave!
