This property is a dream! Property manager was delightfully accommodating, helpful in every way! The view is magical, the house was spotless. We rent many rentals and by far this exceeds in all. Well done and thank you for a wonderful experience.

The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking! Sharlene & Pinky at Villas of Tortola were so responsive and welcoming. Pinky met us at our car rental and drove us to the property - be sure to have an SUV because the roads are very hilly. The house is so well decorated, cozy & inviting. Truly a slice of heaven on earth!

Coastin’ Along gives you quiet beauty. In our week, we heard very little except the breeze and the ubiquitous roosters down below. Heavenly!The pictures are accurate. Breathtaking views, stars at night. Beds are comfortable; kitchen is well stocked. The beach and several restaurants are a close drive. How gorgeous to watch a rain cloud move by out at sea leaving a rainbow in its wake!As suggested, we rented an SUV from Jerrys. They met us at the Ferry. We also pre-ordered groceries. You need an SUV as there are no taxis or uber. (Note: left side drive, steering wheel on the left). Accept the offer to follow someone to the house the first time!! The drive is steep! It was lovely to arrive with our groceries already stocked.We didn’t use the pool much--in Jan, the sun never hit it. But it is pretty and the deck furniture is comfortable. Bring Deet and wrap up everything in the kitchen! Some things to note: 1. As noted, the main part of the house is not A/C’ed. But the breeze and the fans were plenty. 2. The only first floor bathroom is in the Captain’s Quarters. Fine for us, but letting anyone with mobility issues know. 3. The living room only has seating for 4.Communication inside VRBO app was great, but the bulk of the info comes via email, and it was hit or miss. I tried not to pepper people with questions, but a simple “Got it—thanks” goes a long way, as wires were getting crossed.All in all, a delightful, peaceful stay! Highly recommend.

Love this place!

Our family stayed at Coastin Along in July. We have two adult kids and we all had a great time visiting Tortola. Right from the booking, Sam and Louisa were so helpful with emails about suggested boat charters and ferry information for island hopping. We rented a Jeep and upon arrival to the airport Sam was there to meet us which was awesome. Louisa met us and led us to the property and that was so helpful. We loved being able to order groceries to the house and ventured out to dinner a couple of. nights. We all loved the terrain of Tortola and just the casual relaxed atmosphere. We will be back for sure! The view from the large porch areas and pool were just beautiful! Thanks to everyone who made our stay an unforgettable one!

The house is so beautiful and well maintained, all the bedrooms are outstanding in quality, and the house has everything you could possibly need for the beach or a night in. 10/10, this is THE place to stay on Tortola. Cant wait to come back!

Beautiful Villa with Exceptional Views but Thoughtless Property Manager

The villa was spectacular, with exceptional views as advertised in the listing. It was very clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay, except for a very stressful arrival, and an apparent lack of concern by the property manager Sam. When I reserved the villa earlier this year I was unsure how many family members would join us. I was pretty sure there would be 5 adults, but maybe as many as 8, at least for part of the time. We chose this villa because of its appearance, comfortable layout, and spectacular views. We realized that there were only 3 bedrooms with king beds, but it looked like there was a large couch and plenty of room for an extra person if needed. The listing says "sleeps 7." There is nothing about a maximum of 6 people, yet that is what Sam told me after 5 of us arrived and I mentioned that 2 more would be joining us that night. She said that would not be possible because there was a strict policy of 6 people maximum. I explained that my sister was flying in that night and would have no place to stay. She was inflexible and said that she would check on other places. She called back later and said that everywhere she checked was fully booked. She was still unwilling to accommodate, said we would just have to find something, and never called back to check. Fortunately, my son was finally able to book a room at Nanny Cay. This, of course, was quite inconvenient and an additional expense. Sam did not seem to care.

Lovely villa with spectacular views!

Located on the hill overlooking Long Bay, this villa had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun vacation. We especially loved the spectacular deck with its comfortable furniture for coffee/breakfast in the morning, cocktails in the evening, and stargazing at night. The pool was refreshing after a day at one of the north shore beaches. Great location for an easy drive to Smugglers Cove, Long Bay and Cane Garden. Don’t hesitate to book this villa!

The peak of paradise

Our stay at this fantastic property was nothing short of amazing! The entire process from booking through checking out was super easy. Our host lined up transportation from the airport to the front door where the fun began. The house had everything we needed for our stay and our views from the porches and pool were fabulous. My wife and I traveled with 2 other couples so everyone had their own space and the beds were very comfy. My wife and I stayed in the guest house suite and we loved the outdoor shower as well as the views out of the 3 walls of glass that surround the king size bed. We’ve traveled all over the world and this trip is definitely in our top 3 which means we will be back for sure! We hated to leave but knew we’d return and we can’t wait to do so! We give this stay a 5 star review and hope the future guests will enjoy it as much as we did.

Paradise Visited

Coastin Along is right out of the 'House Beautiful' style magazines - beautiful setting, tastefully decorated, well appointed, pool, porches overlooking the islands. It was perfect for 2 grandparents in the pool house while grandchildren ( age 7 and 9 ) and parent stayed in the main house. Nearby restaurant 'Tropical Fusion' is excellent. I highly recommend staying here.
