I had a very disappointing stay at this property due to unprofessional front desk conduct and poor room readiness.
I checked in on January 28, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM. At that time, the receptionist stated that my Mexican driver’s license was “not a real ID,” speaking loudly and dismissively. When I offered my passport as proof of identity, she said it was “not good enough.” I asked to speak with a manager and was told that the office manager was not on duty. Only then was I issued a room key.
The room I was assigned (Room 106) was not properly prepared. The microwave was missing its glass turntable, the coffee maker was missing its basket, and the television remote did not function. Replacement batteries provided by the front desk did not resolve the issue, leaving the television unusable.
When I returned to the front desk for assistance, the same employee was seated in the guest area speaking loudly on her phone and appeared annoyed when interrupted.
Additionally, there was excessive noise from the room above mine, including repeated loud impacts that made it difficult to rest.
I stayed at other La Quinta properties during this trip without issue, but this location fell well below acceptable standards. I would not recommend staying here.
