Gut: Sauberkeit und Zustand der Unterkunft
The Good:
The room itself was amazing for the price, with a nice smart tv, full-size refrigerator and freezer, a small closet, etc. It was pleasantly decorated and very clean. The internet was nice and fast, and the smart tv was an added bonus since I could log in with my own credentials and watch what I wanted.
The Bad:
No Hot Water: I went to take a shower about 1 and ½ hours before my check out time. I turned the shower handle one way and left it for about 2 minutes, but no hot water. I turned it fully the other direction and did the same, and still no hot water. Let me say my shower was very fast 😊. I would have reported this issue to the front desk, but there is none, so I figured the probability of someone correcting the situation was very low.
No Grace for Early Check-In: I arrived earlier than anticipated and at 3:05 pm asked if I could check in early (4pm is the standard check-in). The agent offered to charge an extra $25 to check in 55 minutes early . The price of the room before taxes for my one night stay was $33.51 (~$61 total). I was literally sitting in the parking lot watching the room, and no one entered or left in the time I was there, so it was not that the room was not ready and they needed to pay someone to quickly get it ready. I told the agent this inflexibility would make me be less likely to leave a positive review, but he replied it was a ‘management’ decision due to the rising costs of everything. Really? Why not offer for me to check
