« Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere every time I visit Rest. The wine hour and breakfast are great. We always eat at Taste which is excellent. The immediate area is historic and closed down. It’s a great place to stay after a day of wine tasting and exploring the historical towns nearby. »

« The new owners are working really hard to renovate this motel. The rooms are very comfortable, the place is very quiet. Yes there is a bit of a mess outside while work goes on but that can be overlooked. The owner is very nice and serviable. Breakfast is good but some bread and/or bagels would be a nice addition. »

My only critique: my partner and I are both 6 feet tall and we unfortunately booked a room at the top with a downward sloping ceiling at multiple places. My fault for not better reading the description. Now you know. Come and enjoy yourselves. »
