„We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house immensely. We woke each morning to beautiful flowers and birdsong. The house is lovely, spacious and comfortable. We loved cooking in the large, light-filled kitchen, and there were multiple different dining locations - inside and out. Thanks to Sam for making sure we had everything we needed.“

„Cottage was exactly as advertised. Clean & with all the amenities needed for a MV vacation. If you like a quiet and wooded setting away from the crowds then this is your spot. Great for families traveling with dog. Extra bonus is hiking trail just out the back door and bike trail across from end of driveway. Host was attentive to our request and very responsive.“

„We really enjoyed our time at the cottage! This is a spectacular location with the very short walk down a wooded path to the beach at Lambert's Cove. It was a nice location for food and shopping at Vineyard Haven and visiting our friends in Chilmark. I recommend you arrive during daylight hours as we did - I think it might be tough to find the place for the first time at night. „We had a great stay at Oakhaven Cottage. It's in a beautiful wooded area near Manuel Correllus state forest, with plentiful running and biking paths just half a mile away, and wonderful solitude and quiet. An easy drive to Vineyard Haven and West Tisbury towns/shops. We loved just relaxing in the Adirondack chairs in the front yard, reading and taking in the fresh air. "Das Hotel befindet sich im Umbau. Die Lobby war nicht ganz fertig, das Zimmer war überwiegend fertig. Der Mensch an der Rezeption war nicht besonders auskunftsfreudig. Es gibt einen Parkplatz in der Nähe des Hotels. Da zum Hotel eine Bar eröffnet wurde, waren zum einen Parkplätze schlecht zu bekommen und zum anderen war es recht laut. Man hatte an einem Foodtruck im Hinterhof, neben der Bar, Essen bekommen können. Das haben wir nicht getan, die Zubereitung wirkte nicht hygienisch. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl! Ich könnte mir zwar vorstellen, dass das Hotel fertig renoviert seht schön wird, ich würde dort aber nicht wieder übernachten."
