« Love the simplicity of the Inn and the wonderful rockers on the front porch. Fabulous ghosts stories were told in the front road area.Had a beautiful evening lightning storm. The individual on site didn't know much about maintenance. Our door lock didn't latch at all and that was totally understandable for such an old building. « Silver Gate Lodging is located only 2-3 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The room has been remodeled and was comfortable. The property manager greeted us promptly at the counter in the General Store. She gave us a quick rundown of other businesses nearby for food, coffee, etc. She offered free internet while sitting on the General Store front porch. The other guests were very friendly with a community type atmosphere around the fire pit. The Log Cabin Cafe across the road is delicious...
