The decor was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the shared spaces (like the pool/terrace) were great for meeting other travelers. We loved being able to walk down to the waterfront for coffee every morning. It’s rare to find a place that feels this authentic and welcoming. Mahalo for an amazing stay »

« L’hotel est situé en montagne avec une vue superbe sur la ville. Nécessite une voiture ou un taxi pour les déplacement. Le restaurant était fermé en raison d’une tempête tropical le mois dernier mais le resto Sib’s pas très loin était parfait et peu dispendieux et prisé des locaux. Belle piscine ensoleillée. »

« The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! »

« Friendly staff. Called for taxis, recommended ding, etc. Booked 3 rooms for two nights a week apart. First night one room had no hot water. Second night all 3 rooms had hot water an all six travelers were happy. Restaurant on premises was very good. Breakfast included with room was limited but excellently prepared. Staff was quick and friendly. Excellent choice.Espesially considering the cost. »
