We were a bit surprised to learn that the bunk bed room was detached from the main house. With 6 kids, we had planned to put them in those beds but with the room being detached from the main house, it wasn’t realistic for our younger children to sleep over there so far from us. They notified us of ahead of time concerning directions, check in procedures and local area information.Cons - The house was not furnished appropriately for the size of the house. There was no indoor dining room table and only 4 bar chairs around the island. None of the bedrooms had window dressings. „Beautiful place, beautiful views. The management team responded pretty quickly to texts/emails. Reply was "we'll get with our team." When we checked in at 4:00, the pool did not work. A nice gentleman came out and got it working, but still we were without that important amenity for probably 20 hours out of our 42 hour stay. „This was perfect for our large family gathering. Each couple/family was able to have their own space and the group with the younger kids thought the bunk room above the garage worked perfectly. There are enough unique features/decorations in the home we were even able to have a scavenger hunt one evening which was a blast.
