„What an amazing property! Although checking in during the Montana Creek wildfires, we were assured we were safe. We enjoyed watching the fire fighters ;). My only regret was not spending more time at this stop! It was like living in a storybook. Maybe add outside chairs on the porches? “

„Everything very clean. Kitchen seemed well-stocked. The cabin is small but cozy with kitchen, comfortable couch, comfortable bed, and small eating area in studio fashion. Good place for us to stay to do day trips. Maggie was super pleasant and even sent us off with some homemade cookies. “

„This was a great spot to be off the beaten path, and a good place to chill after hiking and fishing. It is in a nice rural setting but still fairly close to amenities. Having coffee available for us was nice. There are just some basic cooking supplies, but we didn’t plan on cooking much anyway. Host was super responsive, and she had great communication with us before and during our stay!“

„We had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Birch. The entire property was thoughtfully laid out and maintained. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake and using the paddle boat and kayaks. Sitting quietly on the lake and watching the loons was so relaxing. Our teens also really enjoyed the provided outdoor games. The amenities inside were numerous and we were quite comfortable during our stay. Darryl was very fast to respond and very pleasant. We definitely hope to stay here again!“

„Amazing property surrounded by nature. Very private and quiet. Close to Hatcher Pass so you can recreate like the locals but still have easy access to the highway. Very clean with comfortable couches and beds. Well maintained. Closest grocery stores are in Wasilla so make sure you stop on the way in if coming from the south. “
