„The best staff ever, I give them really 5 stars, good breakfast and dining, the place is of course very old, with lots of stairs and old stuff. Shower was very good. The small double room is really small, almost no place for one luggage. Important: it is not possible to open the window, not even a little bit. We had a room to the street and the street noise was not a problem. I used their earplugs and I had a good sleep. The window nothered me more!“

„Schönes Haus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, ganz ruhig, inmitten der Natur. Sehr nette Besitzerin.

„Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream.“

„We were welcomed very friendly. Everything was perfect - including the breakfast - if you wanted an English breakfast.“

„I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.“

„Freundlich, sehr angenehm, gute Lage zum Bahnhof, wunderbares Frühstück, gerne wieder“

„Nice location, very friendly people“

„We‘ve only been there for one night. In our opinion the apartment was very clean and tidy. The biggest issue was that our apartment (family apartment) had no windows in the bedrooms, so there was no possibility to get really fresh air in there. We were really happy about the little breakfast gifts they had there. “

„Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend“

„The space was great, especially the sitting room area. We really enjoyed our stay here except for one odd thing - the property manager scheduled carpet cleaning for the middle of our 2 night stay. I don't normally check my email while on vacation, but I just happened to check and saw a message that carpet cleaners would be coming. There is not a safe at the property and even if we locked our travel documents in our suitcases, there's nothing stopping a thief from taking the whole suitcase. So we ...

„Personal Frühstück, Location, Aatmosphäre“

„Neue Bewirtschaftung. Gemütlicher Pub mit Zimmern in extra Gebäude. Sehr sauber. Für England übliche B+B Ausstattung. Sehr nettes Personal.

„Very nice pub. Good service and friendly staff. Nice room. Air conditioning a little too loud. For one night a great place to stay. “
