Our family absolutely loved our stay! The views were stunning, and we spent every morning with coffee and relaxing evenings out on the porch. The pool was the perfect way to cool off, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It felt like a private retreatâjust far enough from town to feel secluded, yet only minutes away when we needed anything. Weâll definitely be coming back!
My mother (mid 70s), my teen daughter, her two friends and myself stayed in this cabin. It was very comfortable. The girls took the bedroom with three beds and my mother and I each had our own room. The cabin was very comfortable for our trip in late June. The ceiling fans helped the air conditioning to keep the large home cool. The cabin has everything you need. Some nice surprises were the coffee maker, fully stocked dining and serving utensils, shampoo/conditioner and soap, plenty of storage and a VERY short drive to Wimberley Square. The pool was immaculate and the views were spectacular. We had coffee in the morning on the balcony porch and admired the canyon. In the evening we sat outside and enjoyed the stars. My mother and I managed the spiral staircase just fine and we both have knee issues. The five of us watched a movie together in the family room and ate together in the dining room. We are already planning our next trip and we plan to stay here again.
It was an amazing experience staying at your cabin. We felt like if we were at an enchanted forest the view of the cliff the rustic landscape. The closeness to Wimberley downtown made it ideal to visit downtown and get supplies at heb. Easy to find canât say enough good things about this property. 2 suggestions only it wouldâve helped more to have better lighting for the grill in the back and bathroom for make up purposes but other than that 100% recommended.
We had such a great time at this beautiful house. The two porches on the back of the house are hard to leave. We didnât want to do anything else but soak in the beauty. Wimberly is charming! Loved it!!
My husband and I were excited to find a place big enough to fit our daughters and their families. This place was really nice and worked out nicely for what we wanted. The view out the back was really beautiful and we enjoyed our mornings and later evenings out there. The inside was clean and comfortable and stocked well with the essentials. The outside decks and grounds off the house and pool could use a little TLC but overall a very comfy place.
We rent this property for my birthday weekend get away with my family. This property is perfect for a family gathering. The kids loved the pool, and the house is so comfortable so cozy home.
We had a great weekend.
The cabin offered a fantastic view and had a charming, cozy atmosphere. It was very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of sleeping space as each room had multiple beds. Overall, it was a highly positive experience.
If I had to suggest improvements, it would be to address the air conditioning and the beds. The house felt a bit warm, and the temperature controls had limitations. Additionally, the beds could be more comfortable.
Booked here because I saw it was close to Blue Hole and it had a pool and I cannot stress how happy I was with that decision. Wanted an intimate relaxing retreat with my friends this year and this was perfect. The view was beautiful and although there are other structures on the property it felt like we were the only ones there. Very quiet and relaxing. The pool was also great to have in the Texas heat. The pictures do not do it justice.
First, the best things were that the bed and pillows were updated and comfortable and the views from the deck were amazing! We had nice, shaded evenings with a good breeze.
The kitchen was reasonably stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There were plenty of cups, bowls, plates, but only limited silverware. However, as mentioned in a previous review, the freezer only worked sporadically and would not hold ice.
I went back to check the listing and it does say it in a description of the photo, but ALL of the bedrooms are located up a TINY SPIRAL stone staircase. For our group, that was difficult.
While we enjoyed ourselves, we were very dissatisfied in the condition of the pool deck lounge chairs and the chairs around the fire pit. It honestly would have been better to have an open area where you expected to bring your own chairs, as the majority were unsafe for use. I am going to guess that the pictures are in the about 5 years old.
The gas grill was basically unusable and we had to go buy charcoal for the other grillâŠwhich worked great, but the listing mentioned propane.
By 2-1/2 days in the house seemed to cool better after we contacted the host and got permission to turn down the thermostat. During these hot times, I would hope the cleaners would turn on the A/C when they leave in preparation for the next guests instead of letting the house get to well over 80. Unloading and our first day were miserably hot...you should bring extra fans!
My kids LOVED this cabin.
It was perfect. So cozy and unique. My four boys ages 15, 13, 13 and 11 explored and yet NEVER finished finding cool things to show one another.
The house was spotless. Everyone had enough space. Big kitchen table for long family game nights. Only down fall was the freezer was on the fritz.
Firepit was amazing !!!! And veiw...breathtaking!!
One thing I didn't like was in the description it makes it sound as if you have a private pool with the cabin. " private firefit and pool". You don't. There is a shared pool with a cabin a few yards away. No one was renting when we were there so it wasnt an issue.
All in all... we will return !!!
Five of us stayed at the house. We took walks in the morning and sat out on the back porch and enjoyed the view! The house is in a great area! The only thing we wished we would have had were wash cloths. Another towel per person would have been nice.
The pool was fun!
We will be back!
A severe storm came through Thursday night before of Friday check-in. I dont know if that caused all the floors to be dirty, but it is very possible that it did.
There were only 6 bath towels and no wash cloths in the entire house.
Other than that it is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our stay!
Came here for a weekend getaway with my grandparents. The hill country views were immaculate and the cabin itself was homey and had everything we needed to make it a relaxing weekend.
Adult children and grands loved the location and the quirky charm of the cabin. The Senior family members faced several challenges including all bedrooms upstairs by way of difficult spiral stone stairway, and the lack of hand holds in the bathtub/showers.
Oh my god. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews, but this was an absolutely incredible stay. We were 9 adults and a small dog and there was plenty of (comfortable!) space for all of us, the cabin itself is SO beautiful and fun, and the views from the deck had us absolutely gobsmacked. (I'm so serious, those hills will take your breath away) The location is great, tooâ the local shopping center is super close and we were able to pop out whenever we needed with no problems. Carrie answered promptly when we had questions before our stay and made sure we had all the information we needed for our weekend to go smoothly. It was everything we could've possibly asked for and everyone had an absolutely amazing time!
We loved this place! We planned this for my husbands birthday weekend. We loved the pool, views, and itâs 5 minutes from one of the coolest natural springs Blue Hole. Totally worth the price.
